E-mail from RAS IADONIS TAFARI:
|
|
Selamta, Tena YsT'lgn, Fraternal Greetings
to you all:
Dear Nibure-Id Ermias, Ethiopia Kingdom of God
Services servant,
I am L'ul-Ras Iadonis Tafari of the Lion of Judah
Society of His Imperial Majesty and sn Executive member of the
Patriotic org, the Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated in
1937 by Dr. Melaku AmanuEL Bayen. Dr. Melaku is an inspiration
and testimony of faith under adversity and enormous odds... His
wife was African-American born and even in that is a YosEf type
of the 'yeteq'ebawin'...
I say this because your response to Selamawi Amare and your brief
outlining of the principles upon which you have taken your stand
being the Mewahad of Faith (Spiritual) with Ethiopiawinnet (Word
Made Flesh), the Hebrew idea of the "Ha-Adam" to say
THE MAN, made in the Image (Melke) of the SEDEQ (Righteous-ness/Justified-
justification my extension, based upon my overstanding of the
G'Iz, IbrayisT' and the ROYAL "Amharic".... There is
a point to be made for the endurance of the AG'AZI-ness based
on the purity of the Zephaniah 3:9 Royal Amharic used in the H.I.M.
HOLY BIBLE which we have evidence that certain Nicoliatians in
the outer 'church' have tried to suppress and even tamper with
the original 1961 text.... Yet, that is for a more fuller and
comprehensive detailing....
I must also introduce my consort, my sEt to compliment my wend...(wendina
sEt), I praise the grace of the Dingil in the illumination of
virtue that has "kissed" the Faithful Ityopiyawit...
My sister-wife is an Ethiopian "Maryam", Her name and
noble title is Woyzero Tehetena Girma-Asfaw of central Highland
descent. I am from the Ethiopian-Hebrew diaspora from 400 plus
year earlier known biblically as the Exile and called the Captivity
(the new millennium marked the prophetic 70th year that the Nebiyat
spoke of....) As for she, my teQ'edami ImabEt, she is Native Ag'Azi
born and we are both blessed by the Geta ina Medanit: IYYESUS
KRSTOS of His Imperial Majesty to be able to serve the Father
(Ab) and the Welid (Son) through the menfes Q'dus according to
His Will and guided by His Word.
To explain, my new name (not my baptismal one, but my 'given'
non-slave nomen) is spiritually based upon faith in the revelations
given concerning Nehemiah chapter 3 verse 7 and thus name Yadon
in Nehemyas and "Iyadinos' in 2nd Esdras ('Izra). I explain
this because N'gush Selomon says that "...a good name is
rather to be chosen..." And, thus I as a Hebrew exile is
guided by the Menfes Q'dus of Abbatachin to the Way of IYYESUS
KRSTOS, the Ethiopian to reclaim the Holy Covenant of my righteous
ancestors, at home and abroad. I am a so-called "African-American"
who has come to comprehend my Identity in Christos restored to
us "lost sheep" as being Ethiopian-Hebrew like those
faithful patriarchs and matriarchs, many being martyred in the
late 30s, 40s and in the 50s and 60s they lost sight of Ethiopia
and got conned into "civil rights" and wandered in the
wilderness, like the disobedient 'Israelites' of scriptures in
the wilderness of the "North Country", i.e. North America
and the Caribbean.... PROPHECY FULFILLED! More to come...
However, beloved, I shall be brief for now. I was inspired by
the Menfes Q'ddus to send you a word of encouragement and 'Hulle
Tamagn!' (Always Faithful!) I had read your first book and was
interested in the way you courageously and faithfully presented
your case and facts that gave evidence to your testimony. In our
fraternal society, named the "Lion of Judah" (Mo'A Anbessa
Ze'Im Negede Y'huda Makh'ber) we have also discussed and review
much of your works and ministry. I must express that I did not
agree with you on all points of view and opinion, namely related
to H.I.M. HAILE SELLASSIE I, our "Abba"; nevertheless,
you did boldly addressed the Rastafari brethren who wrote you
to express his views.
The important fact is the exchange of ideas and the fruits of
the faith in its many fold revelations and teachings based upon
the Sovereignity of His Christos, IYYESUS of Nazret, "the
Ethiopian" - Ag'Azi! We seek to fellowship more with you
all and share the revelation and testimony that we have based
upon our faith in the King of Kings in and according to the Way
of the KRISTOS based upon the Word, the H.I.M. HOLY BIBLE which
we regulary study and teach His disciples from in the Menfes Q'ddus....
AmEn.
Please feel free to visit our websites, namely the EthiopianWorldFederation.org,
the sister-site: EthiopianWorldFederation.com. Our Rastafari outreach
ministry to preach and teach the Way of His Imperial Majesty based
upon the Testimony of His Christos is aimed at strengthening the
true Tewah'do Haymanot amongst the brethren, sistren and to the
upcoming generation of we, Hebrew-Ethiopians... www.LOJSociety.org.
We have been also persecuted and even exiled, on the one hand,
by some 'Rastas' who seek to vainly deny the Krstinna of Grmawi
Negushenegeshtu! Woyo! And on the otherhand by so-called 'believers'
and those who come and say they are "Christian" and
prove their apostasy by their lack of grace and holy spirit inspired
conversation... These and those worship the anti-kristos image
and deny His True Humanity, or as we would say, His Ethiopiawinnet!
And, thus they refuse to "Come out of Egypt!" when the
Sovereign (GEta) 'parted the Ertra (Red) Sea" and we came
out on dry land...
My beloved brother and all gathered here... I did say that I would
be brief, yet your site is so refreshing and uplifting that I
could not pass up the opportunity in His Love to share a few words
and hope for these words to reach you all with your eyes lifted
up to the Hill from whence cometh our Help - EL'Azar! All the
best and blest in the New Millennium... For a Day with Our Saviour
- Medkhanitach'n is as An'd Shi Amet!
I shall close with this admonition and encouragement to the poor,
righteous seekers..."Come, My people! Enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you! Hide yourself, as it were, for
a little moment, until the indignation is past! For behold, the
LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth
for their iniquity! The earth will also disclose her blood, and
will no more cover her slain. (Isaiah 26/20-21)
Grace, Peace and Love be with you all! S'ega,

Our Response:-
|
In the Name of the Holy Trinity!
In the Name of the Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God!
In the Power of the Holy Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
Dear Mr. Ras Iadonis Tafari:
Ethiopian Greetings to you, and through you, to your wife Woizero
T'h't'nna G'rma Asfaw, and to all your colleagues who are involved
in the Sacred Service of the Holy Cause of Ethiopia's Sovereigns:
Our Lord God, Priestly King, the True Ethiopian Jesus Christ,
Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah and Our Holy Queen, Mother
of God The Virgin Mary, Ethiopia, Who Stretches Out Her Hands
to God!
Thank you for visiting our web site and for sending me an email
of compliments and kind words. I read with interest the biographical
details of yourself and your wife, along with the description
of the work you are engaged in. I also revisited the various
web sites you provided me with their respective addresses: They
are all informative, educational and entertaining. I am happy
to know that you read my book, Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God,
I presume, with its Divine Message being discussed, hopefully,
in favorable and constructive way among the membership of your
fraternal society.
For me to learn from your writing that Menfes Q'ddus [The Holy
Spirit] had inspired you to send me a word of encouragement
has a special significance and impact more on my vocation than
anything else. This is because I always regard the presence
and influence of such Divine Inspiration in whomsoever, as the
authentic Sacred Sign and sole guiding principle that I maintain
and follow, and on which my full credence in the conduct of
my life of service is entirely based to this day.
As Believers and Servants of God, I think one of the utmost
prerequisites that Our Lord God of the Holy Covenant expects
of us is to remain Faithful to Him and to our Word of Honor
given in His Name. Yes, unless we are inspired and guided by
the Holy Spirit, we, bare humans, indeed, cannot even conceive
of, let alone believe in and invoke the Name and Power of God
The Holy Spirit.
The following outcome of the query that Our Lord presented to
His Apostles revealed this Divine Truth: "When Jesus
asked
His disciples, saying,
"Who do you say that I am?"
Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the
Son of the Living God." Jesus answered and said to him,
"Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood
has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven."
I trust that such utterance of yours, in line with the above
quotation, would prove itself genuine and fruitful in the course
of time. (Matt. 16/ 13-17)
I admire and commend the individual and the collective commitments
you and your compatriots are making and the ventures that you
are undertaking in the pursuit and promotion of the cause of
the Ras Teferians (Rastas). I believed from the beginning that
this Movement came into being to serve, not only the cause of
the latter, but also, the present apostate Ethiopian generation
in its desperate need for a new inspiration, an exemplary character
and a beacon of hope.
Thus, I felt that the purpose of the inception and launching
of the Movement was not meant to be confined to that of its
eccentric goal alone. It goes further than that. It was concomitantly
presaged to render even more serious premonitions directed to
the Living Ethiopian Generation: The intransigent and unrepentant
generation, universally known as the product of Atsie Haile
Sellassie's rule and leadership, that continues to defy the
Holy Covenant God made with its predecessors. While the latter,
on their honorable part, adhered to and preserved it to the
last, the same rebellious generation, on its dishonorable part,
turned it into a sacrilege.
As such, the current Ethiopian generation and its contemporaneous
Movement of the Rastas are both inadvertently destined to serve
the Dual Purposes of God that He aimed at both the Branches
of the Generation of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God of The Holy
Covenant. God, in His Wisdom and Patience, is providing them
with the chance of getting the hard lesson wherefrom they learn
and know about, and at long last find the True Face and the
True Nature of The Divine Truth. On the one hand, God had directed
the first of His Purposes to the Compatriots, grouped and known
as the Apostate Generation; and, on the other hand, He had directed
the second of His Purposes to the Expatriates, grouped and known
as the Ras Teferians.
According to this Divine Arrangement, the one Group serves the
other as a Stumbling Stone, in order that both would reciprocate
and complement each other's deficiencies and failures. Whereby,
finally, both Groups, of their own free will and resolution,
shall come to their Ethiopian Senses and acknowledge their current
human shortcomings. This phenomenon would result in their Spiritual
Transformation of Fullness and Unison, achieved through their
respective Genuine Penitence and the Grace of The Divine Truth
in The Holy Spirit. Such Culmination of the long-suffering and
virtuous Pilgrimage, ultimately ushers them into the Heavenly
Chamber of The Divine Thrones of Our Priestly King Father Jesus
Christ and the Holy Queen Mother of God The Virgin Mary Who
Reign also on Earth. And here, they receive the Eternal Embrace
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.
This is the Day of Triumph, on which the Glorious Divine Kingdom
of Ethiopia manifests Herself universally to all humanity on
Earth. This is the Unique Day of Visitation on which all True
Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant would come together hand-in-hand
and Glorify God. This is the Joyful Occasion of the Attainment
of the Appointed Time preconceived and set by God at the beginning
of Creation. And all these Extraordinary Events will be fulfilled
according to Scriptures that foretold this Divine Episode, and
as was relayed to us through God's Servants of the Old and the
New Testaments, referred to hereunder by one of the latter.
It was this same Divine Truth, as heretofore described, that
impelled me, in the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit,
to commit myself with dedication to write the book entitled
Ethiopia: The Classic Case. As you are already familiar with
the contents of the same, the foregoing concern was the whole
Theme and Message of the Divine Truth presented thereby.
Yes, the main emphasis of the Divine Message delivered therein
was focused, both on the revelations of the apostasy of Atsie
Haile-Sellassie's Generation, as well as of the misrepresentation
of the Cause of the Movement of the Ras Teferians. There, the
issues were treated as crucial cases of grave concern and, as
such, were critically analyzed in greater details in order that
both would be bound to be salvaged for their ultimate rectification
and restitution to their honorable and legitimate Divine Status.
God, through His Message aforementioned, in which the Divine
Enlightenment, Admonition and Exhortation were put forward,
intended for both the misguided, iniquitous and distraught Ethiopian
Generation and the Ras Teferian Movement, to be convinced and
disposed to repent, and ultimately restored to their True Ethiopian
Identity of the Holy Covenant upon which Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God is founded.
The following quotation from Scriptures still pleads with all
the Membership of the Ethiopian Generation and the Ras Teferian
Movement to hearken seriously to the constant calling of Our
God of Ethiopia of the Holy Covenant. It also ordains both the
former and the latter to see to it that each and all of them
fully commit themselves to its fulfillment for the last time.
Both the parties involved, indeed, ought to carry out such Divine
Ordinance without any more consideration and procrastination.
The human contemplation and delay served them nothing, but extended
their unjustifiable mental, physical and spiritual miseries
only, over and above the two millenniums of years that, humanity
at large, and they themselves in particular, already expended
in futility and brutality. So, let us all listen to the Word
of God open-mindedly, intently and with the inspiration of the
Holy Spirit:
"Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy,
envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure
milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have
tasted that the Lord is Gracious. Coming to Him as to a Living
Stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and Precious,
you also, as Living Stones, are being built up a Spiritual House,
a Holy Priesthood, to offer up Spiritual Sacrifices acceptable
to God through Jesus Christ.
"Therefore, it is also contained in the Scripture, "
Behold, I lay in Zion, A Chief Cornerstone, Elect, Precious,
and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."
Therefore, to you who believe [Members of the Ras Teferian Movement
who accept The Holy Covenant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God],
He is Precious; but to those who are disobedient [Members of
the present Ethiopian Generation who deny The Holy Covenant
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God], "The Stone which the
builders rejected, has become the Chief Cornerstone," and
"A Stone of Stumbling, and a Rock of Offense." They
[the latter] stumble, being disobedient to the Word [the Holy
Covenant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God], to which they also
were appointed.
"But you [the Repentant True Ethiopians from both the Generation
and the Movement that believe in and accept the Holy Covenant
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God] are a Chosen Generation, a
Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, His Own Special People, that
you may proclaim the Praises of Him Who called you out of darkness
into His Marvelous Light; who once were not a people but are
now The People of God, who had not obtained mercy, But Now Have
Obtained Mercy.
"Beloved, I beg you as Sojourners and Pilgrims, abstain
from fleshly lusts which war against the Soul, having your conduct
Honourable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against
you as evildoers, they may, by your Good Works which they observe,
Glorify God in the Day of Visitation. Therefore, submit yourselves
to every ordinance of man for the Lord's Sake, whether to the
king as supreme, or to governors, as to those who are sent by
him for the punishment of evildoers and for the Praise of Those
Who Do Good.
"For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may
put to silence the ignorance of foolish men- as free, yet not
using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as Bondservants of God.
Honour all People. Love the Brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the
King [The Incarnate God Jesus Christ, The Conquering Ethiopian
Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and the Queen, Mother of God, The
Virgin Mary, Ethiopia that Stretches out Her Hands to God].
(1Pet. 2/1-17; Ps.118/ 22; Matt. 21/42; Is. 8/12; 28/17)
It is always my strong conviction that, as long as we remain
Faithful to His Holy Covenant, Our Benevolent Heavenly Father
will continue to lead us all when we are committed in striving
Faithfully for the attainment of the Divine Goal that He, with
His Bountiful Goodness, had predestined for Our Everlasting
Ideal Life. We can never doubt the successes of our individual
and collective efforts in achieving our Sacred Aspirations for
True Ethiopia and True Ethiopians in the Divine Kingdom of the
Holy Covenant, of course, through the inspiration and guidance
of The Holy Spirit who endowed each one of us with such privilege.
It is ever more invigorating for all of us to realize the Divine
Truth that this endowment has already been unequivocally assured
and eternally consolidated by the Covenant of Mercy that was
acquired by the Divine Motherhood of The Virgin Mary.
Let each one of us, therefore, open his/her heart with genuine
faith and will to the Ethiopian Jesus Christ, the Conquering
Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and to His Ethiopian Mother The
Virgin Mary Who always Stretches Out Her Hands to God. Let each
one us offer and commit himself/herself to the complete possession
by the Holy Mother and Her Divine Son, so that all the forthcoming
Divine Activities that are determined to be conducted by The
Holy Spirit through the agency and instrumentality of his/her
person are fully facilitated.
For further enlightenment on this particular subject of great
importance, I suggest that you revisit the "Faith"
as well as the "Q & A" Forums of our web site,
with special emphasis to the latter. Therein, we have a fresh
input concerning an email from a Ras Teferian who raised relevant
and controversial issues that directly relate to the same questions
under discussion, to which we appropriately responded in details
thereto.
I wish you all the best, and continue to pray for the wellbeing
of all of us.
N'bure-Id Ermias Kebede Wolde-Yesus,
Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.

First e-mail from Seife-Sellassie, UK:-
|
Ermias Kebede Wolde-Yesus, Nibure-Id
Greetings and honour to you my brother, in the name of our
Lord and Saviour Yesus Kristos.
I humbly prostrate myself before you bearing the Holy Cross
in your hand, to the office bestowed upon you by Yesus Christ,
disseminated through our King Haile Sellassie I to the Clergy
that anointed you. If it would appear that I am prostrating
to your manhood and the Spiritual Office of our Lord, it is
not so, however it is difficult to separate the two in English
words, (The Ethiopian Qene may help) it is easy on the intellect,
as the Office cannot be recognised by man without the manifestation
of man to carry the power of the Office. I may one day praise
your works in bringing many unto righteousness in disseminating
the Good News internationally, when I learn more about your
works. In essence, I write this pertaining to the holy anointing
and Office of His Majesty Haile Sellassie I and His works also.
I have taken so long to reply to you as I have had to pray
and think of the how to write to you in truth, having been baptised
as Seifa Sellassie the Sword (of truth) of the Holy Trinity
and recognising the spiritual responsibility bestowed on the
bearer of such a name and an Office I pray our Lord will use
to evangelise the Good News as a servant of Yesus Christ and
Ethiopia, which is recognised and associated internationally
with the very Being of His Majesty Haile Sellassie I.
I feel the necessity to speak to you now as I was looking
at the Sellassie Family website and Esther Sellassie has invited
Ethiopians to sign a commitment to The Ethiopianess ascribed
to in your book, which I wanted readily to do, to be in contact
with the Ethiopian Family. I could not do it as your book seems
to be so offensive to people like myself and would be against
the truth of my Spirit. I know the truth can be an offence,
and not a sin and only the Almighty can judge, but however if
one was to turn a sinner away from the Gate of Zion, when one
is a servant and keeper of the Gate, would that be counted as
unto righteousness? I think your book has greatly damaged the
London Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
Does Ethiopian Nationalism, this proud heritage, have a
place in this international world community as a prejudiced
and narrow minded entity? Pertaining to the world, as the chosen
Kingdom of God here on Earth, Ethiopia a servant, should be
a leading light and any other denomination worshipping our Lord
cannot be viewed as a threat to this chosenness. Surely that
would diminish our knowledge that the Almighty is omnipotent
and His recorded love for Ethiopians as written in Amos. I say
this unto my perceived criticism of His Majesty by you in allowing
other denominations into Ethiopia. Would Yesus Christ have been
despotic and only allowed a certain form of Worship to the Almighty?
"In MY house there are many mansions." Would the Lord
by Example have tried to unite all believers in His Way? I refer
you to the speech of His Majesty Haile Sellassie I, a Disciple
of Christ, in Berlin 1966.
Who in the African Diaspora would not think of His Majesty
when Ethiopia is mentioned? Good thoughts or bad. Here in England
if the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is mentioned, people ignorant
of her existence (the majority) immediately ask if it is full
of Rasta's. This fact is an indictment of the ineffectiveness
and lack of direction amongst the church builders of the Ethiopian
Orthodox Church. There is only one Ethiopian Church in London
where the building is owned by the congregation and that congregation
is comprised of 'native' Ethiopians. Relative to the age of
the Church run by Jamaican Clergy who practise, the Ethiopian
way to the very best of their ability, the Ethiopian led church
in England is but a suckling. We the Ethiopians of His Majesty's
following (relative to paragraph 2) only share buildings with
Churches belonging to other denominations, which at times for
reasons we understand not, we are given notice and then seek
further benevolence from another denomination to give us a home
to worship.
Many people especially Rasta people and people who appear
not to be Rasta with a yearning for an African heritage come
to the church to receive the Truth to their searching for a
place wherein their soul can find rest. However the numbers
are transient and remain few and very very few relative to the
black population. Why? Yesterday at service there were less
than thirty people in attendance.
The African Pentecostal churches are heaving, the Mosques
are full. People of African descent find more in common with
the Asiatic Muslim form of Worship or Western Christianity and
West Africanised worship of the Western form of Christianity,
worshipping Jesus Christ; the White Jesus, instead of Yesus
Kristos an Ethiopian; or no religion at all.
I am not promoting race hatred here or division, but am
defining a stumbling block of an Ex-slave collective consciousness
that possesses an innate rebelliousness to which the spirit
is a guide. White Jesus was used to enslave the bodies and minds
of captured Africans. As an Ethiopian Wolde-Yesus, you do not
have it; neither do other native Ethiopians, as we neither have
the innate characteristics of the collective consciousness of
a people that have neither been subjugated by slavery or Colonialism.
The ancient incorruptible truth lies within the Island of Africa's
only Christian Kingdom.
Would it be unthinkable that building blocks are put into
place to address these fundamental differences, which would
by necessity, need a special understanding by the Church and
by members of the Rastafarian community worldwide, at least
one million people and growing? Ras Tafari as a movement is
lacking a means to worship true God that many seek. To some
the calling of his Majesty's name is not enough and can only
take one so far. Some are content to do just that and the Livity
of Ras Tafari in one love is enough. His Majesty said no man
is to judge another mans belief and religion but the Almighty.
Ras Tafari's people are teaching a different Haile Sellassie
than the man, yet if this is not addressed, the myths and misconceptions
will grow, however the matter of The Divinity of the Kings of
Ethiopia, historical and Biblical, cannot be swept under the
carpet by the Church in the hope that it will go away, for it
will not be understood in context.
It would be a travesty not to harness the light and power
of this phenomenal movement of people who love Ethiopia and
through the leading light of His Majesty are drawn by spirit
into the arms of the Church, yet are in effect turned away.
I would refer you to Ezekiel who talking of the Shepherds of
Israel, "they drink from the Holy fountain, and yet foul
the residue with their feet". I say; "should not the
shepherd feed the flocks, even those who on their heads are
wearing the locks". Incidentally I do not have locks and
look like a Mediterranean.
Just yesterday I asked a newly appointed Priest of the Church
if the Divinity of the Kings of Ethiopia is a myth and he replied
"YES". This is an abomination, for the Head of the
Church being the Defender of the Tewahedo Faith, whom is anointed
in the name of Yesus Christ, as a servant of Christ and the
Divinity of Christ within that Office is rested upon His Crown
and within his man guiding his nature, if we are to believe
the unification of God and man through Yesus Christ. Unless
the many that witness His Majesty's devoutness as a Tewahedo
Christian are not telling the truth, the above would seem to
be relevant. If this is a myth, then the least Office within
the Church is a myth and the nature of Christ is open to a Roman
Catholic interpretation. If this is a myth I don't wish to be
Seifa Sellassie for it will be meaningless.
As you are aware the divine line of Kings reaches further
back in time prior to the 3000 year past Solomonic period, than
it does forward unto this time and Kingship, Divine Kingship
began in Ethiopia and other nations received Ethiopian Princesses
to legitimise their Royal line within the "Chosenness"
of God.
Why deny this history to deny the Divine lineage of a contemporary
Ethiopian Monarch? Is this a modernism, albeit a 1700 year old
modernism adopted in the nascent Christian era? With respect
may I ask; I wonder whether your stance on His Majesty's achievements,
which in my opinion from reading your book is negative, as a
benefactor of the educational programs inaugurated by His Majesty,
are you one that opposed his modernisation program in bringing
Ethiopia forward to the 20th century, that necessitated the
land reform legislation that affected the power of the Nobility
and the Church? My point is that modernisms are relative to
time frames. Maybe back then as an educated person, one would
have opposed any modernism that would deny the Divine right
of Kings or any time when this doctrine was to be usurped and
treated as myth.
I followed history back to the earliest phase of Ethiopia's
past and tried to learn as much as possible of the Ancient concepts
of Kingship and "chosenness" of God. I have also learned
some knowledge on the Ancient Priesthood, the Worship of God,
The ancient Trinity of Atum/Amen, Isis and the Son Horus, the
understanding of the Star movements, a prerequisite of the Priesthood
which are recorded in the Ethiopic Book of Enoch as well as
elsewhere.
Christianity does not teach us this and I am not trying
to teach knowledge of the stars but it is a knowledge that can
bring an understanding of the past and the expectations of peoples,
such as the Ethiopians to Egyptians to the Hebrews and Sumerians
and other educated ancient peoples of the Levant in the appearance
of their anointed one/ Messiah.
The precession of the equinoxes, are a prerequisite for
understanding, the 'world clock' and the ages of time. An age
is to last just over 2000 years, 2160 approximately hence the
millennium measures.
It is recorded that each end of an Epoch and the beginning
of a new age an avatar in the likeness of God was to appear
on earth.
An age is defined by an animal image and sacrifices to God
of those animals in their respective age is recorded.
The Ethiopians/Egyptians were of the Bull cult from approx
4500 - 2450BC and we see Moses berating the Hebrews for still
carrying the cult hundreds of years hence, when he descended
from Mount Sinai. We also read in the Psalms of sacrifice of
bull and the understanding that our prayers and contriteness
are worth more than the sacrifice of bull's blood.
It is known that there was a change of an age at 2450 as
it is recorded in the ancient Ugarit stones found in Syria,
so that can be used as a measuring point.
The next age of the Ram began at 2450 and continued until
290 BC.
The biblical Imagery of that time over a thousand years
later, the emergence of the Shepherd boy King, the keeper of
goats/sheep and the crowning of a king and Israel the sheep
of his pasture is not insignificant. At around the end of the
age a dynasty, right on Queue to the 'world clock' emerged,
within 120 years, the Maccabaean Kings in which the hopes of
the restoration of the Kingdom of David laid and then the appearance
of our Lord and Saviour of the Davidic Line 160 years later
to restore mankind to Gods Glory.
The physical manifestation of Gods power was long in Ethiopia
within the Ark of the Covenant.
The Age of Our Lord; 290 BC until 1870 AD- Ethiopian Calendar.
Now the age of the Fish and the imagery of the 'fisher of
men' feeding the thousands with fish, His Disciples being from
the fishing industry are also not insignificant and the usage
of the image of the fish representing our Lord is in use up
to today. However, the Sacrificial Lamb imagery of the suffering
servant signifies the continuity of old to the new age, as did
the children of Israel making an image of a bull in the previous
age.
The new age of Our Lord continued as written for a thousand
years, before there was any attempt to establish an expected
new era in the Kingdom of Israel, when the Europeans of various
nations invaded the Holy Land from 1095 and continued until
1291. Gregorian calendar
Meanwhile in the Kingdom of God, King Lalibela had built
the New Jerusalem in Ethiopia in his reign that began in 1133
AD and ended forty years later.
Later on Queue to the 'world clock' there appeared the restoration
of the Solomonic Christian King of Kings within the Kingdom
Of God of Ethiopia in Theodore 1847-60, Johannes IV 1860-82,
Menelik 1882 -1906, Lidj Yasu 1906-1909 and then Empress Zawditu
with Prince Regent Ras Tafari 1909 -1921 when Tafari was crowned
King and King of Kings two years later.
This is not history I am being arrogant enough to teach
you my brother in Christ as I am aware that you know it and
would teach me much more if we ever have the blessing of our
God to meet, which would greatly bring joy to my heart. I do
however wish to bring before you my historically founded viewpoint.
Yes all the Kings prior to Haile Sellassie were king of
Kings and anointed in the same way, but from the re-emergence
from Tewodros up until His majesty in the time, the end of the
age, is it an insignificant matter that the name "Power
of the Holy Trinity" bestowed on King Tafari had never
been given to another King? I must ask this question. Did King
Tafari name himself or was the name bestowed upon him within
the Holy Spirit of St. Mary of Zion our mother Church?
1 Peter; v 17-20 of the Common Bible:
If you are acknowledging as your Father one who has no favourites
and judges one according to the work he has done, you must be
scrupulously careful as long as you are living away from your
home.
Remember the ransom was paid to free you from the useless way
of life of your ancestors handed down, was not paid in anything
corruptible, neither in silver not gold, but in the precious
blood of a lamb without spot or stain, namely Christ; who though
known since before the world was made, has been revealed only
in our time, the end of the ages, for your sake.
I consider ones berating of His Majesty and his family is
unfair, concerning the matter of Ras Tafarians worshipping him
as he clearly and emphatically wrote these words;
"At this hour, when I have found occasion and time to write
the story of my life, I have prefaced my writing by presenting
the following prayer to my CREATOR and then to continue this
work. Lord Almighty in whom there is no weakness, ETERNAL in
whom there is no transience; in admiring your work as well as
your judgments, a created being, even after much searching,
cannot fathom them except to a limited extent. It is a subtle
secret which a creature, even after much exploring, cannot know
but which You alone do know: why in the immediate past as well
as now You have made the Ethiopian people, from the ordinary
to the Emperor, sink in a sea of distress for a time, and why
You have made the Italian people up to its King swim in a sea
of joy for a time". (Emphasis belong to me)
In light of the events of 1974 the Crowned head of Ethiopia
remains crowned and also the anointed Abuna, as the illegal
act committed against Church and Monarchy remains blight on
the conscience of Ethiopia and the spilled blood of her people.
This fact remaining just leaves us to the power of the Almighty
and history being the Judge of the works performed by Emperor
Haile Sellassie, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion
of the Tribe of Judah, Elect of God and Defender of the Tewahedo
Faith.
Much of what I have written is to receive approval to evangelise
in reggae music and sing Psalms and songs to Almighty God, through
the Horn of the anointing and the rallying Horn of the anointed
King of Israel to bring Gods children from the depths of the
sea and the four corners of the Earth. This ministry can raise
money to build a Church and to do worthwhile works in the service
of our Lord. I pray that it will be more powerful and successful
in the God given aim of uniting a people on the breast of our
Mother Church. St Mary of Zion.
Ermias Kebede Wolde-Yesus Nibure-Id I can write much more
and have kept this long letter as short as possible.
I beg to remain your brother in the Almighty God our Lord
and Saviour Yesus Christ. Amen

Our Response to the first e-mail:-
|
Dear Seife-Sellassie:
Ethiopian greetings in the Name of the Holy Trinity and in
the Name of the Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God!
Thank you for your email with its attached letter of 22 October,
2007 which I read with interest.
I am glad to hear from you after a long time.
As a servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, it was only with
the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit that I put the
Divine Message into writing and delivered it in the book you
read entitled Ethiopia: The Classic Case. Hence, in order for
any part of its texts to be comprehended in the right perspective,
the reader has to be in the same spirit with which it was written;
that is, the reader ought to be inspired and guided by the Holy
Spirit. I could not have conveyed the Divine Message otherwise,
and in a more detailed, articulate or better way than I did
therein. If my writing is found to be intelligible and acceptable,
well and good; if not, my only option would amount to simply
invoke the Holy Spirit to grant the inspiration and guidance
to that reader for the proper understanding of the Massage.
You know that each one of us, who assert to be Faithful Ethiopians
or Christians, believe that we, personified by Adam And Eve,
are created, originally in the Image of God; then, of our own
volition, rejected and corrupted such humanly indescribable
grand Status, only to reclaim It, finally, in Its enhanced and
perfect condition through our Rebirth from God in the Holy Spirit,
an attainment once again acquired by the sacrifice and atonement
of The Incarnate God Jesus Christ Himself.
Because of this Ultimate Gift of God, which we were blessed
to be bestowed upon through the Sacrament of Baptism, the Divine
Grace that inspires and works within each one of us will only
be the Holy Spirit, as long as we remain Faithful Children of
God. If this is the case, no fundamental controversy or critical
misunderstanding would ever emerge between and/or amongst us.
If it happens, we ought to wake up, stay spiritually alert and
be critical to scrutinize whether or not it is the stealthy
power of the adversary, sneaking into our fraternal relationship
to make way for its routine trial. Let us not forget that we
are already in the crossroads of the Final Era wherein the Evil
Spirit, the Devil, according to Scriptures, specifically in
Revelation, is released from his incarceration of a thousand
years by The Son of God and The Son of Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ
at the end of the Millennium, into which we just passed through
the threshold of 2000 A.D. Ethiopian Calendar. (Mt. 12/28-30;
Rev. 20)
I am sure, from your reading of my book, you would have the
recollection of the utmost effort I made therein, on one hand,
with regard to the elucidation on the Divine Truth about Ethiopia,
the Ethiopian and Ethiopianhood in general; and, on the other,
in particular, the revelation of the Divine Reality as to how
the long relentless bondage of identity crisis that rightly
afflicts the Ras Teferians, or, for that matter, any human being
on earth, including even the present Ethiopian generation, has
already been shattered once and for all. I had presented the
aforementioned Divine Truth and Reality by admitting myself
unequivocally and making it quite clear that:
1) Atsie Haile-Sellassie was and remains as one of the Elects
and Regents of the Incarnate God and "Conquering Lion of
the Tribe of Judah", Jesus Christ, and, of the Holy Mother
of God and "Ethiopia that stretches out Her Hands to God",
The Virgin Mary, himself anointed, enthroned and crowned as
the legitimate Supreme Head Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God on Earth.
2) Jesus Christ, as an Ethiopian, born of the Ethiopian Mother,
long before the advent of Atsie Haile-Sellassie, almost a couple
of millenniums earlier, had accomplished His Divine Mission
on earth and restored all those virtues that were originally
God-given to humans, but, unfortunately rejected by the latter,
finally granting the privilege of reclaiming the former (the
virtues), not only to each and every Ras Tafarian, who yearns
and toiled for them, but also to the individual human being,
including the Ethiopian.
3) God had established and granted, nurtured and eternalized
Ethiopianness by means of the Seven Holy Covenants not only
for Ethiopians, but also for Ras Tafarians and for all humanity.
Did you ever visit our web site: www.ethkogserv.org? If not,
please do so, especially, the section that is entitled Q &
A on the Home Page. You will find therein, details that would
interest you as well as relevant subject-matters that would
enhance your search for the Divine Truth about Ethiopia, the
Ethiopian, and Ethiopianness.
I continue to pray for the inspiration and guidance of the
Holy Spirit to all of us wherever we live and in whatever pursuits
we are individually engaged for the Divine Truth and His Cause.

Second e-mail from Seife-Sellassie, UK:-
|
My blessed brother and father in the Spirit
of our Lord and Saviour and Holy Mother, the Bearer of the Word
Incarnate, greetings to you.
Thank you for your reply. I am grateful that you have directed
me to your website of which I had no prior knowledge.
There are many points that I have read in your responses to
others that have reached into my spiritual essence.
I do feel that your response to my letter could be perceived
as pedantic although I have received it with utmost humility
of spirit. I could perceive an understanding that could imply
that I am not immersed in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit
and therefore unable to comprehend your intention and delivery
of your Divine Truth.
I have read your response many times now and in my truth I feel
a disappointment that there is a blanket coverage that is vague
for a teacher in regard and is not a detailed reply as the great
detail of your responses in the Q+A page you have directed me
to. Many of your responses by you on that page have filled me
with joy and concurrence.
The issue of the Eucharist being for sinners is a matter I have
had conflict with the Church Fathers since my Baptism, Timkat
1998. Three of my children were baptized at the same time; however,
my wife (now divorced) was not Baptized hence my refusal of
the Holy Sacrament. This still continues although my spirit
has rebelled and I have prepared myself and approached the Holy
Eucharist without consent, which denies me the Sacrament of
Penance.
Before my Baptism I have been asking of the Christian nature
of Ethiopia before the Greek colonization of our Parent religion.
Nobody but you has given me an answer, because the inability
through lack of innate knowledge.
The position of the Church in relation to the post 1967 Ethiopian
Government is also a matter I have been most interested in and
found that I met a politically muzzled Clergy of which I find
disappointment.
This Clergy however, the only one that is invested with the
continuation of the Power of the Holy Trinity has to suffice.
Where-else can one go when one needs to be attached to the Holy
Church of Saint Mary of Tsion which has had its name changed
to Tserha Sion (political reason?) in London?
I have deliberately not replied to some matters in your
reply that I would like to continue a discussion, because you
have not commented on any matters that I thought may have been
of interest in my previous letter. Is your action dismissive
of thought provoking facts that could in any wise introduce
further truths with your divinely inspired position?
I would like to learn Ge-ez could you please direct me. I am
a good student.

Our Response to the Second e-mail -
|
In the Name of the Holy Trinity!
In the Name of the Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God!
In the Power of the Holy Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
Ethiopian Greetings!
Dear Seife-Sellassie:
Thank you for your last email in response to my earlier one
to you.
I apologize for the overdue delay of this reply which is caused
by our usual busy schedule, as you may hopefully understand.
I am glad you benefited from visiting our web site, especially
from perusing the Q & A forum.
When I wrote you my previous reply, I never imagined that its
message would ever create such a reaction on your part to the
extent of characterizing it as pedantic, and of finding it to
incite more disappointment in you than my book had already inflicted
thereon. I did not realize the existence of such feeling until
you revealed it in the attached letter of your first email.
It was my sincere hope that the last reply I wrote you would
rather help dispel the misconceptions that were evidently manifest
in the contents of the aforementioned letter of yours. To my
surprise, however, all turned out to be the unexpected, the
contrary.
My previous reply was, therefore, not meant to be "dismissive",
as you depicted it, but submissive, in the inspiration and guidance
of the Holy Spirit, to quote your own word, "of thought
provoking facts that could in any wise introduce further truths
with your divinely inspired position" only if those truths
prove to be so.
As the approach and behaviour of one person of your kind of
conviction or persuasion had, years before, not only prompted
me but also urged me to write, in the inspiration and guidance
of The Holy Spirit, and publish my book entitled Ethiopia: The
Classic Case, so also now, you are, once again, compelling me
to retell what I had already related about Atsie Haile Sellassie
in connection with the Holy Covenant. My first response to you
was meant to help evade such unnecessary confrontation. Now,
it does seem to me that you do not favour that option, but to
oblige me to act otherwise, which I am going to do.
You are also right in alleging that my response, to quote again
your own word, "is not a detailed reply as the great detail
of your responses in the Q+A page you have directed me to. Many
of your responses by you on that page have filled me with joy
and concurrence." Accordingly, I hope my present response
will be detailed as you wished it, and will fill you with joy
and concurrence as you demanded it.
In the first place, I never intended nor planned to write, even
from the beginning, about Atsie Haile Sellassie, either with
regard to his person and personality, of which I still do not
know, or his deeds or misdeeds. Let me recapitulate briefly
what I described in my book regarding the experience that I
underwent for its achievement, even if you know enough about
it, as I presume. Now, I decided to resort to this routine pursuit
just to show and prove to you, once again, the Divine Truth
that it was not my human individuality, but The Holy Spirit
that had inspired and forced me to undertake such a challenging
and contentious task of writing the aforementioned book.
When I was approached through the family of the late Crown Prince
Asfa-Wossen to give an interview to one renowned Radio Station
in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, on the subject of the Ark of the
Covenant, I accepted the invitation and made my presentation.
However, the presentation was done not as they -the sponsor
family as well as the Radio Station executives- wished it nor
expected it, but in such a way that it turned out to be all
inclusive of the Seven Holy Covenants, and not only of the one:
the Ark of the Covenant which was the sole object of the projected
radio talk show program.
As the personifications on Earth of the Holy Divine Covenants
comprising the Seven Covenants that originated from Adam and
Eve, and spanned through Noah, Melchi-Zedeq, Abraham, Moses,
David, and finally consummated by The Virgin Mary and Her Son
The Incarnate God are Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God and the Ethiopian,
it was imperative to underline in that presentation the Divine
Truth that the Custodian and the Defender-in-Chief of the whole
chain of the Holy Covenants is the Atsie, i.e., the Elect of
God.
To corroborate this Divine Truth, I provided the cases of two
recent Atsies: Atsie Menelik II and Atsie Haile-Sellassie I:
The former, Atsie Menelik, adhered to the Divine Covenant he
made with God and remained Faithful to the Holy Covenant, as
a result of which he vanquished astoundingly the then super
power Italian invading Army at Ad'wa, Ethiopia. Whereas, the
latter, Atsie Haile-Sellassie, after forty years, denied the
same Divine Covenant he made with God and betrayed the Holy
Covenant by abrogating it and substituting his reliance on the
human covenant he made with the then League of Nations at Geneva,
as a result of which he was reprehensibly defeated by the then
same super power Italian invading Fascist Army at Mai'CHew,
Ethiopia.
The revelation of this Divine Truth in the public broadcast
infuriated your colleague, named Mr. Karl Phillpotts Naphtali,
and he wrote me the provoking and uncompromising letter, just
as you did now, to which I appropriately responded, as you read
it in the book. Incidentally, I may not need to tell you that
this person, having intimate relationship with the family of
the late Crown Prince referred above, was the one who was delegated
to approach me on behalf of the former and accompanied me as
liaison to and from the aforementioned Radio Station.
Just as I did at that time, so also now, with the inspiration
and guidance of the Holy Spirit, I will venture to do the same
with your present challenge. And accordingly, I will treat your
view points positively and respond to them appropriately as
follows:-
1. I hope you will understand why my initial response to the
attached letter of your first email was focussed on the Graces
and Powers of the Holy Spirit: Yes, there and then, I was trying
again to convey to you the Message of The Divine Truth that
asserts the reality as to whenever and wherever the inspiration
of The Holy Spirit is involved, what prevails among True Believers
is not the evil spirit in the guise of misunderstanding, but
only concurrence in its pristine nature and resourcefulness
of The Holy Spirit. With the case in point, however, the absence
of The Holy Spirit on your side is evidenced by your rejection
of the invitation offered by "the Sellassie Family website
and Esther Sellassie", to quote your own statement, by
"Ethiopians to sign a commitment to The Ethiopianness ascribed
to in your book, which I wanted readily to do, to be in contact
with the Ethiopian Family. I could not do it as your book seems
to be so offensive to people like myself and would be against
the truth of my Spirit." The truth of which spirit? Let
us keep on and see.
When you proceeded to say in your letter that, "I know
the truth can be an offence, and not a sin and only the Almighty
can judge", you seem to be unmindful and not in recognition
as yet of the fact that God already made and revealed such Divine
Judgment by imparting His Divinity to every human being to sense
and distinguish which of the two spirits, i.e., The Holy Spirit
or the Evil Spirit, is working within himself or herself. Does
not "to be in the Image of God" purport this Divine
Truth, and is not the former all this about? Isn't this premise
true and acceptable on your part?
On my part, I know and easily distinguish whether any inspiration
in me or my thinking is of The Holy Spirit or not, of course,
by the Divine Judgment that is inherent in me. Why? Because
this is the basic characteristic of the human nature of and
constitution in Divinity, i.e., the Image of God: To conceive
of and distinguish the Good, that represents God The Holy Spirit
from, or the Bad, that represents the Devil, the Evil Spirit,
and vice versa. You proved by the several explicit statements
in your letter such as, the one quoted above, that you are diametrically
opposed to the Divine Truth that I had delivered in my book.
The following utterance could be cited as another instance:
"if one was to turn a sinner away from the Gate of Zion,
when one is a servant and keeper of the Gate, would that be
counted as unto righteousness? I think your book has greatly
damaged the London Ethiopian Orthodox Church." I can only
surmise that you posed such sarcastic enquiry either because
you intended simply to ignore or deliberately misrepresent the
stark truth that is embodied in the same book. Therein, the
sole Message of the Good Tidings of the Divine Truth proclaims
the wide opening of the Gate of Zion that remained open for
the past two millenniums, and the Divine Call made ever since
for every human being to come and enter therein, into Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God.
While the Divine Message that is delivered through my book brought
about the fruit of The Divine Truth of Salvation to the London
Ethiopian Orthodox Church, as is evidenced even in your case,
how on earth would you misinterpret the Gracious and Benevolent
Act of The Holy Spirit that seems to be manifest on the former,
and dare say that "your book has greatly damaged the London
Ethiopian Orthodox Church?" No, you are wrong. What is
happening is the contrary: The Divine Truth, through the Power
of The Holy Spirit, is inflicting upon the Falsehood of the
Devil a "great damage" by bringing out to light the
latter's sinister treacheries of building within the hearts
of individuals and amongst these people the evil influence of
domination, and by destroying all that the same had achieved
so far, and finally by implanting therein the Seed of the Divine
Truth.
You see how The Holy Spirit, in disseminating the Divine Truth,
conducts His Work of Salvation? Because you are sincerely in
search of the Divine Truth, so that you too would be saved and
enter into Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, see how The Holy Spirit
brought and placed my Book in your hand, presumably through
a True Servant of God whose Baptismal Name is Habte-Sellassie.
Whose Benevolence would you think this is? Is it not of The
Holy Spirit and for your own sake?
Now, if you are a True Believer and truly in search of The Divine
Truth, I am sure you would open your spiritual eye in the Holy
Spirit and discern which spirit was and is working in you. Leaving
to the Divine Jurisdiction of the Almighty as regards the bestowal
of righteousness on individuals, how would you personally assign
the same status, in human terms, to someone who had done the
exact duty he is charged to accomplish, as described heretofore?
I have the record of your e-mail correspondences with us, if
you are the same person. How would you evaluate our dealings
with you so far? Am I wavering from or adhering to the commitment
of my duty: Enlightening you in the Divine Truth about Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God, the Ethiopian and Ethiopianness of the Holy
Covenant?
2. You need to realize, first and foremost, that the Church
of Ethiopia, or, if you want to refer to Her using your own
term of appellation, "the Holy Church of Saint Mary of
Tsion", is only one of the Two Integral Branches of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God, Her designation being the House of the Priesthood,
and the other being identified as the House of the Government,
both branching out from the main trunk, the House of the People.
3. In response to your statement with regard to modernism and
the allowance of other denominations into Ethiopia, let me say
this in brief:
a. I wonder why you are still unable to visualize the Divine
Truth presenting Itself in crystal clarity of the catastrophic
consequences that befell Ethiopia and the Ethiopians as a result
of the unfaithfulness of, i.e., the denial of the Holy Covenant
by Atsie Haile Sellassie. He was anointed by the House of the
Priesthood after he was elected by the House of the People and
presented by the House of the Government of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God.
Such Divine Ceremony was conducted, and his Coronation and Enthronement
was consummated only because he willingly and publicly made
the Solemn and Sacred Oath, in the Divine Truth and in the Worship
of the Holy Spirit, and in the Name of God The Trinity, on the
Divine Seal and Book of the Holy Covenant, inside the Holy Sanctuary
and in front of the Divine Thrones of and to His Sovereigns,
The Incarnate God Jesus Christ and The Virgin Mary, Mother of
God, to preserve, maintain and promote the Sacred Treasures
and Heritages of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.
When he introduced into Ethiopia and to his contemporary generation
"modernism" with all its crude, foreign and detrimental
elements, especially the educational and ideological ones, and
when he invited and allowed a multitude of overseas missionaries
to roam across the whole country unbridled, all such liberal
policies were undertaken without regard for and with the deliberate
aim to destroy Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, with Her People,
Church and Government, in blatant transgression of the Holy
Covenant he made with God. No proof is needed to verify this
reality: The end results of such conspiratorial ventures are
substantiated by his own ignominious demise and the ongoing
tragic situation of the People, the Church and the Government
he was Divinely Entrusted to shepherd and to lead.
As a supposedly Avowed and Committed Head and Defender of the
Faith of the Holy Covenant, what he should have done is obvious
even for any ordinary and normal human being to realize, let
alone for you who claim to be in search of truth. But, may I
ask which kind of truth? The human or the evil one? I assume
the Divine Truth. If that is the case on your part, you ought
to agree with me in the following statement that anybody who
is inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit would readily declare:
Atsie Haile Sellassie, before he gave the green light to Ethiopia's
longstanding adversaries and let them loose to overrun and devour
Her in the guise of modernization, education and missionary
activities, there were prerequisites and precautions that needed
to be undertaken: He should have given, beforehand, the utmost
priority to equip, in the first place, the existing institutions
of the Divine Kingdom, particularly, the House of the Priesthood,
i.e., the Church, with the required training of the personnel
and the provision of the equivalent facilities, as he had done
personally with the House of the Government all his life. This
measure was imperative and indispensable so that the former
would be capable of dealing with and confronting the new challenges
that the modernization process, spearheaded and managed by those
hostile and vindictive foreigners, had entailed.
But rather his main preoccupation turned out to be the contrary:
The hasty and vigourous implementation and enforcement of the
premeditated scheme of the systematic dismantling and destruction
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. The devious ploy was just to
leave the latter unattended only to decay and crumble by Herself
under the mercy and mocking eyes of Her adversaries, over the
current inevitable and subsequent outcome of which they overtly
and conspicuously rejoice and feast ever since, and to this
day.
This accomplishment, on the part of Atsie Haile-Sellassie, as
a reliable and effective tool of Ethiopia's adversaries, of
course, constituted a denial of the Holy Covenant he made with
God on behalf of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. And the price
he paid for such betrayal was what all the world had witnessed
and continues to witness unto the present: His and his accomplices
dreadful downfall and the destruction of everything that he
toiled all his life.
Such religious attitude and ethical assessment should not be
construed to mean opposing modernism, as you tried to imply
in your letter. No, it is not. In fact it implicitly and explicitly
purports the contrary: Atsie Haile-Sellassie could have easily,
effectively and successfully achieved even more than what he
had dreamt of and labored all his life to bring Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of God, i.e., his country and people to modernism, without
resorting to the disruptive and damaging alien approach, but
simply by following and holding fast to that of the Ethiopian.
Here, few examples could be cited to demonstrate the validity
of this fact: Eastern countries like Japan, India, Peoples of
the Arabian Peninsula and some African countries which accepted
modernism. These countries applied modernism to their individual
situations and benefits, maintaining and without jeopardizing
the fabrics of their faiths and customs on which their national
identities are founded and constituted. This reality is apparent
to each one of us today to witness some of those latter countries
making incredible progress to the extent of enhancing their
status to be included among the highly industrialized group
of nations, even surpassing few of their patrons and role models
themselves.
b. From time immemorial, in Ethiopia, as The Kingdom of God
on Earth, no ethnic group with its dialect, custom, or faith
has ever been excluded, persecuted or refused entry into the
land. Pagans, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Atheists and believers
of every kind of faith live in Her Land in peace, harmony and
prosperity for ages on end, and to this day. Ethiopian Living
Tradition testifies that, of all other countries with their
own religious affiliation, the first genuine asylum to Pagans,
Jews, Christians, Muslims was granted only in Ethiopia by Her
Divine Kingdom.
I hope this age-old tolerant position of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God would suffice to refute your allegation that reads, to
quote your own writing, "I say this unto my perceived criticism
of His Majesty by you in allowing other denominations into Ethiopia.
Would Yesus Christ have been despotic and only allowed a certain
form of Worship to the Almighty?" As The Kingdom of God,
I assume you would concur that Ethiopia remains as such and
as the Believer and Worshipper of the One God of the Holy Covenants.
Why? Let us see the reason:
Because, any person who is affiliated to any of those ethnic
groups with different faiths and dialects living in Ethiopia,
when and if he/she consents, of his or her free will and choice,
to become Member, Citizen or Offspring (Son or Daughter) of
Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, the former is joyously and heavenly
accepted and initiated in the Membership, Citizenship and Birthright
of the Divine Kingdom. And henceforth he/she would be called,
formerly, Ag'azi, then, Christian, latterly, Amhara, and finally,
Ethiopian, which designations are still interchangeable.
Once he/she is included in the Membership, Citizenship and Birthright
of the Divine Realm, by the Divine Provisions of the Covenant
of Melke-Zedeq that ordains the person to became an Ethiopian,
he/she would be eligible for any and every post in the Three
Houses of the Divine Kingdom, even to the Rank of Atsie or N'g'st,
as the Living Testimony of Ethiopia bears out.
4. Let me reiterate some relevant Divine Truths in relation
to succession to the Throne of David, and thereby answer your
question as to "Why deny this history" of "the
Divine lineage of a contemporary Ethiopian Monarch?"
In order to be eligible for the anointment and enthronement
to the Divine Crown, the need and the legitimacy of carnal birth
and descent of a person from the Seed of the Covenant of King
David and of the Ethiopian Bethsheba, and of Queen Makk'dda
of Ethiopia (Queen of Sheba) and of King Solomon, son of David
was fulfilled and terminated, invalidated and consummated once
and for all. By whom? Of course, by the Incarnation of God the
Son, Jesus Christ, the Ethiopian Conquering Lion of the Tribe
of Judah, born of the Ethiopian Virgin Mary, who became Herself
the Holy Mother of God, the Living Eternal Zion and Ark of the
Covenant of Divine Mercy, Ethiopia that stretched out Her Hands
to God, and Queen of Heaven and Earth.
Henceforth, the former archaic Old Testament Order of inheritance
was thus culminated by the Incarnation of God Himself, as explained
in the foregoing testimony, and substituted, renewed and eternalized
by the New Testament Institution of the Holy Spirit whose Ordinance
is enshrined in the following Word of God inscribed in the Gospel
of John: He [The Word of God, Lord Jesus Christ] came to His
own (the Israelites, because of God's Covenant with Abraham,
identified as "Lost Sheep") and His own did not receive
Him. But as many as received Him, to them (Ethiopians and True
Christians) He gave the right to become Children of God, to
those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man and woman,
BUT OF GOD. (Jn. 1/11-14 Ge'ez version)
In keeping with this Divine Ordinance, any and every True Ethiopian
of the Holy Covenant, including you (if you have the will to
attain such status), is granted the Divine Birthright of becoming
eligible for all the Official Positions of Service in the Three
Houses of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, even for the Highest
One of the Elect of God, i.e., the Atsie (for the male) or N'g'st
(for the female).
5. With regard to your statement that says "any modernism
that would deny the Divine right of Kings or any time when this
doctrine was to be usurped and treated as myth", the following
short explanation suffices:
The Divinity of each and every True Ethiopian Believer, let
alone the Atsie, in accordance with the Holy Covenant, had never
been doubted, and had never been conceived and described as
a myth. It is the fundamental Divine Truth of our Faith even
from the beginning of our existence, because of the Holy Covenant
that postulates the transfiguration of Adam and Eve, who were
already created in the Image of God.
This Image of Divinity was enhanced when Adam and Eve ate the
fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad, as pronounced
by the Word of God that says, "Then the LORD God said,
"Behold, the man has become like One of Us, to know Good
and Evil." Our Divinity was again enhanced for the third
time when each one of us is born of God through The Holy Spirit
and the Holy Water at the Sacred Ceremony of the Sacrament of
Baptism.
However the attainment and perpetuation of the possession of
this Divinity by the Ethiopian depends on the True Adherence
of that individual to the Faith and Commitment of the Holy Covenant.
This would mean that the Divinity of the Atsie or the N'g'st
remains intact only as long as he/she stays True to the Faith
and Commitments of the Holy Covenant he/she will have made with
God. If the Atsie, the N'g'st, or any Ethiopian, betrays his/her
vow of faithfulness to the Holy Covenant, he/she is categorically
liable to lose his/her Divinity, unless and until he/she repents.
And for such act of transgression he/she is doomed to the Divine
Rebuke and Retribution.
Unfortunately, this was the fate that had befallen Atsie Haile-Sellassie
while he was living on earth, and just before the time of his
ultimate demise. Now, trusting that he, on his part, finally
had repented, we, on our part, continue to pray to Our Lord
Jesus Christ and to Our Queen Holy Mother of God The Virgin
Mary, for the remission of all his sins, and for his admission
into Paradise, Ethiopia's Heavenly Kingdom of God.
6. We need not, therefore, single out, specifically mention
and emphasize the name and office of Atsie Haile-Sellassie alone,
any more than we need to do so of any of his predecessors. This
is simply because each one of the latter, including the former,
as Atsie, i.e., as the Elect of God or as Representative on
Earth of The Priestly King Jesus Christ and The Holy Temple
Queen Mother of God The Virgin Mary, Who are the Sovereigns
of Ethiopia: The Divine Kingdom, had accomplished his/her term
of office and charge of duty and passed away. Our Sovereigns,
whose Names and Offices that deserve mention occasionally and
eternally in the overall instances, should always be those of
the Ethiopian Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah Jesus Christ
and of Ethiopia that Stretches out Her Hands to God The Virgin
Mary.
7. Many a time, the Divine Message in my book greatly emphasizes
the Divine Truth that The Incarnate God, the Ethiopian Jesus
Christ came to this world in the Likeness and Order of His Precursor
the Ethiopian Melke-Zedeq not only for the Ethiopians, but also
for Ras Teferians as well as for the whole of humanity, in order
that every human being would be immune irretrievably and eternally
from the liability of the crave of any human entity, that would
serve him or her as a Consummate Leader or a Role Model, physically,
mentally and spiritually.
This is the Reality that the Divine Truth constantly proclaims
about in the Person of Jesus Christ and in the Inspiration of
The Holy Spirit for the last two millenniums. If so, why do
you still insist, even as a Ras Teferian, to set aside this
Divine Truth, Gift and Privilege, and to continue to use the
name, the office and the leadership of Atsie Haile-Sellassie
in pursuit of your already known human objective?
You know that Atsie Haile-Sellassie proved even to himself as
well as to the whole world, let alone to his God, beyond any
reasonable doubt, that his human weaknesses and failures committed
him to succumb to the evil forces of the generation of his own
making who brought about his final demise and the calamity upon
his country and people. And the vestiges of these misfortunes
still linger in the relentless anguish that persisted to this
day on his people in Ethiopia as well as on those dispersed
throughout the world.
Why are you so much impelled to pervert this Divine Truth and
create a human being, and impose upon yourself as well as upon
others, in contradiction to the Divine Truth, a hypothetical
phantom in the person of Atsie Haile-Sellassie whose expediency
is found to fit your organized set of circumstances? Is this
simply because of the necessity to satisfy the experience that
was sustained and currently asserts "White Jesus was used
to enslave the bodies and minds of captured Africans",
and because of "a stumbling block of an Ex-slave collective
consciousness that possesses an innate rebelliousness to which
the spirit is a guide", again to quote from your own statement?
Is this logical and religiously proper, conducive and permissible
approach to our Ethiopian (Christian) Faith of the Holy Covenant?
If your real need for your specific cause is to find some one
who would perfectly serve the purpose of that need and cause,
which one of the Two figures proves to be the ideal Eternal
Leader and Role Model? The Ethiopian Jesus Christ? Or Atsie
Haile-Sellasie? I am afraid that you do not seem to realize
that your intransigence not to accept this Divine Truth would
amount to utter blasphemy, with all its grave consequences?
8. Do you think that I, as a person in my status, would dare
to rebuke the works of Atsie Haile Sellassie, just for its own
sake? No. As a person, who am I, even in your eye, to challenge
and speak against what Atsie Haile Sellassie did? No, It is
not me, but The Holy Spirit that has spoken. Am I not an ordinary,
and obscure individual, unworthy of any significance or qualification,
and without any merit, in the physical or secular, intellectual
or spiritual sphere, that could possibly make me different from
any commoner?
The Holy Spirit had spoken of the Divine Truth about Ethiopia,
Ethiopians and Ethiopianness in my book, Ethiopia: The Classic
Case. Yes, He spoke through the Living, the Ordained and the
Legitimate N'bure-Id (the Arch-Priest of St. Mary of Axum Zion
and Head of Her Domains) of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. This
person was elected, nominated and presented by the then Heads
of the Three Houses, of the People, of the Government, and of
the Priesthood, to the then Legitimate, Living and Anointed
Elect of God, Atsie Haile Sellassie, and finally appointed by
the same, as Head of Axum Zion, the Symbolic Representation
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, whose and where the integral
Three Houses function. This same person, undergoing the similar
process of nomination and appointment, also served the Divine
Kingdom as Member of the House of the People, and of the Senate
of the House of the Government, and as the General Administrator
of the House of the Priesthood.
If you recognize the authority vested by the Holy Covenant on
this person as such, it is your Ethiopian or Christian duty
to accept and believe, and ultimately to bring to fulfillment,
the Divine Truth uttered and delivered by the same who acts
as Its Messenger. Yes, if one believes that the Message uttered
and delivered is of the Holy Spirit, no one, including and even
the Deliverer of the Message himself, would have the right to
question It, or make any kind of amendment and/or compromise
on the Message already uttered and delivered, let alone to allow
misrepresentation or misinterpretation thereon, other than Its
strict acceptance and fulfilment.
Since the Holy Spirit is One and only One, there could be no
fundamental differences of opinion between Faithful Believers
of the Divine Truth that is claimed to be uttered and delivered
in the Inspiration and Guidance of the Holy Spirit. While it
is worthwhile to make every mutual effort towards reaching at
the knowledge of and enlightenment on any subject, we need not
insist in continuing to engage in controversies in any way with
regard to matters where the Holy Spirit is believed to be involved.
9. I admired your diverse and diligent historical researches
for the scientific data that portend to verify your conceptions
with regard to Atsie Haile-Selassie's case. However, as our
sole interest is radically related to Ethiopia: The Divine Kingdom
of the Holy Covenant with God, we ought to focus and rely more
on that aspect of our Faith. We must be cautious not to be consumed
and obsessed in dealing with it in that direction, as the temporal
and the material aspect of it always mutable, leads astray and
is destined to perish, while the Divine and the Spiritual one
guides the Right Way and ends in the Everlasting Truth. So long
as your researches prove to be in line with the Divine Truth
personified in Jesus Christ, and their outcome corroborates
our Faith, it is well and good. Otherwise, they are rendered
null and void by the Word of God exemplified by The Holy Spirit.
I exhort you, therefore, not to be so much preoccupied and so
anxiously concerned with it: Those human concepts, dreams, longings,
historical facts and scientific findings, together with the
Prophecies were all fulfilled, authenticated and consummated
once and for all by the Incarnation of The Divine Truth in the
person of Jesus Christ born of the Ethiopian Virgin Mary. The
particular presentation of The Divine Truth in this respect
is eternalized in no better way than in the following expression
of the Word of God the Holy Spirit:
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who
are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power
of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of
the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
"Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer
of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did
not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the
message preached to save those who believe.
For, Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but
we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and
to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both
Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness
of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren,
that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty,
not many noble, are called.
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to
shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world
to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things
of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen,
and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things
that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom
from God -and righteousness and sanctification and redemption-
that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory
in the LORD." (1Cor. 1/18-31)
10. Lastly, I would like to say that, just as I have done herein,
in my book and elsewhere, you also have the right to express
your own stand point with respect to the fundamental points
of the Divine Truth that I attempted to convey to people in
all walks of life. Nevertheless, if you wish to continue our
correspondence in the future, we need to avoid such position
of argumentative confrontation, as we have just experienced;
because, the One Holy Spirit does not allow us to be engaged
in that kind of course of action. In the Life and Inspiration
of The Holy Spirit, there is no place for argument, but only
for enlightenment. I hope you will be in accord with me in this
respect.
God willing, we are planning to introduce, in the near future,
Ge'ez Teaching Forum on our web site. You may wait until then
to satisfy your want of learning Ge-ez, as you noted in your
letter of email. Otherwise, you may look for a web site of Ethiopian
Orthodox Tewah'do Church or its affiliates who may provide such
facility.
I extend to you my prayerful best wishes for the success in
all your ventures.
N'bure-Id Ermias K. Wolde-Yesus,
Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.

Where is now Tabote Tsion? Thank you.

|
|
Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Ato Habtamu Ataklti:
Thank you for visiting our web site.
Here is the answer your question of your email as to where Tabote-Ts'ion
is now:
Tabote-Tsion finally became Living Humans, i.e., the Ark (the
Tabot) became the Person of the Holy Virgin Mary Mother of God,
and the Tablets (the Ts'llat) became the Person of the Incarnate
God Jesus Christ. Both the Mother and the Son, after fulfilling
the Prophesies and accomplishing their Divine Mission on Earth,
had ascended and are now in Heavens, seated on Their Thrones of
Eternity, and reigning through the Holy Spirit over humanity at
large, and especially over Ethiopians in Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God. (Rev. 11/15-19; 12/1-17)
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian Believer, you need
to be knowledgeable about such and all other minor and major issues
pertaining to Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianity. To achieve
this goal, you have to read those books and publications publicized
on our web site, including the Q & A Section.
By fulfilling this Ethiopian commitment, you will, not only benefit
from the acquirement of the priceless information on the Divine
Truth about Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianity, but you
will also save the valuable time and energy that we, on both sides,
would unnecessarily spend in our exchange of emails.
So, we urge you to do that before you try to send us any more
questions on any item that relates to the above subject matters.
Wherever you are, this is the way to bring yourself, as an Ethiopian
Believer, to the attainment of the True Life of Tranquility in
Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.
We send you our prayerful best wishes.
Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.

Selam!! Tena Yistilign!!
I just happen to serf on the web and found your
interesting web page, specially the Q&A Page.
What is "Fitat" the ceremony that carried
out when a member of Orthodox Church dies? Why do we baptize some
one at his/her infancy? Is it not make a decision on ones behalf?
What is "Sir'ate Qurban" and the feast ceremony is it
bibilical? Egzi'abher Yistilign!
|
|
|
|
Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Ato Iyyasu Wakene:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your compliments.
Here are the answers and explanations for the questions in your
email:
1) "F't'hat" is a special prayer conducted for the deceased
members of the Church. According to our Ethiopian Tewah'do Faith
of the Holy Covenant, the Livings as well as the Departed members
are always together in the Holy Spirit and in the Realm of Ethiopia:
the Kingdom of God. We, the Living, in the physical body remaining
behind on earth, and those the Departed ones in the spiritual
body waiting for us in Paradise, will stay wherever we are until
the appointed time arrive when the Final Judgment is given at
the Triumphal and Glorious Return of our Priestly King Jesus Christ
with His Holy Queen Mother, the Virgin Mary and His Angels. At
that time, all of us, the Living and the Dead, will be transformed
into and arise in the New Resurrected body either for the Eternal
Life of Commendation or Damnation.
Now, we pray for the Dead simply to remind ourselves and to demonstrate
to others the Divine Reality that spiritually they are with us
and we are with them. In doing so, we are fulfilling our duty
of pleading God so that He grants to their souls His Mercy and
to place them in Paradise until all of us are united in His Eternal
Kingdom that will be revealed and reign on Earth and in Heavens
upon His Return.
2) We Ethiopians remained all through the ages to
this day, Believers, Worshippers and Children of God. This is
because of our Faith that is based on the Seven Holy Covenants
whose existence spans from the beginning of the time of Adam and
Eve to the final age of the Advent of the Virgin Mary Mother of
God and Her Incarnate Son Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our status of being "the Children of God" is, therefore,
realized even while we still were conceived in the wombs of our
human mothers. The reason why we are brought to the Temple and
presented ceremonially to God is to confirm publicly our Spiritual
birth from God. Circumcision which takes place on the 8th day
of our physical birth is part of this process. As we do not question
the reason why we entered into a Covenant with God through the
Sacred Sacrament of Circumcision even at that early infancy, we
need not question why we are baptized on the 40th or the 80th
day of our birth, the male and the female respectively.
This is because we are already Children of God through the Holy
Covenants and through our parents who had already endorsed the
acceptance of their Faith in the God of the Holy Covenants of
their own free will of adulthood, just as we follow suit and confirm
our acceptance of the Faith by the time we grew up and reached
adulthood. (Ex.13/2; Lev.12; Luk.2/21-24)
The Gospel of Christianity was preached to the Gentiles and Heathens
who worshipped idols or the Devil, and who did not know anything
about God, not to Ethiopians. The Gentiles and Heathens were the
ones who needed to learn the teachings of the Faith, and after
understanding the religion completely have to make the decision
to believe or not to believe, and then to be baptized, if they
accept the Faith. (Matt. 28/16-20)
3) "S'r'ate-Qurban is a Biblical (of Old and
New Testaments) Ceremony of Prayer and Offering of Sacrifice to
God that is conducted in the Church by ordained priests with the
representation of the Bread and the Wine which become the Body
(Flesh) and the Blood of the Incarnate God Jesus Christ. The reason
why this Service is continuously observed in the Church is:-
a. Because of the Ordinance that Our Lord Jesus Christ gave to
His Apostles at the Last Supper He had with them on the eve of
His Crucifixion and Death on the Cross, at which occasion He Himself
performed the first Sacred Ceremony.
b. So that each one of us, after repenting for any and every sin
that we think to have committed, eat the Divine Bread and drink
the Divine Wine, and be united with God physically, mentally and
spiritually, finally to maintain our individual and collective
good life in this world and in the coming Eternal World of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God. (See Gen. 14/18-20; Matt. 26/17-29)
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian Believer, you need
to be knowledgeable about such and all other minor and major issues
pertaining to Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianity. To achieve
this goal, you have to read those books and publications publicized
on our web site, including the Q & A Section.

would unnecessarily spend in our exchange of emails.

questions on any item that relates to the above subject matters.

E-mail from Wolde Timket, UK:

Tena Yistilygn! Hope all is fine.
I have a question regarding receiving Holy Qurban
within my Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
There seems to be some confusion after receiving Holy Qurban from
Ethiopian baptized members, as to greeting one another with the
traditional three Holy kisses or making normal hand shake of hands
or simply making physical contact with anyone even a baby or child.
I live in England and found this to be the case in many Ethiopian
Church Congregations. I have been to Churches in Ethiopia and
found the same result, for some Church members it is ok to give
greetings and some not.
I have asked many priests in both countries and all their views
are different. Some believe you will lose the blessing, as after
fasting and receiving Holy Qurban, if you make contact with someone
who is less clean than yourself who has fasted and received The
Body and Blood Of Jesus Christ our God. Some say man can not take
away your blessing given from God, and it is ok to give greetings
after Holy Qurban. I understand keeping the mind and body clean
after receiving, i.e. no sex, foul language, spitting etc.
Could you tell me what you believe to be the correct order, as
I prepare and receive Holy Qurban very regularly? And I would
like to be more confident when I explain to my brothers and sisters
in Christ why I may not give them any greetings. Beselam, Wolde
Timket.

|
|
Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Wolde Timqet:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your email.
Praise to God, everything is fine on our side. We pray it is the
same with you.
Our responses to your questions are as follows:
In the Services of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, where the House
of the Priesthood is one of the two integral branches of the House
of the People, the other one being the House of the Government,
the position we maintain with regard to the rituals that should
be observed after receiving the Q'ddus Qurban is in line with
our age long Ethiopian Tradition that spans the life of the Holy
Covenant Itself from the time of Adam and Eve to this day, ranging
for 7,500 years.
As Ethiopians, each one of us considers himself/herself the Temple
of God. And this is according to the Order of the First Melke-Zedeq,
who, as such and as the Faithful Believer in God, as servant of
Him in Priesthood, and as the King of the Divine Truth, the Sovereign
of the Divine Peace and the Founder the City of Jerusalem is the
precursor of Ethiopianhood, and of the Eternal Ethiopian, Our
Lord Jesus Christ.
This Divine Reality remained per se and lively in the Ethiopian
Person ever since that primordial time of the Genesis, known as
the Era of the Covenant of the Soul that God made with His human
counterparts, when God inscribed the Ten Commandments on the hearts
of Adam and Eve, thus transforming them into His Divine Image.
We, Ethiopians are, therefore, not only the worshippers of God,
but also the Temples of God, even before the later Period of the
Ark of the Covenant that contained the Two Tablets on which the
Ten Commandments were written by the Hand of God, and was given
to the Israelites through Moses.
When the Jews denied the Ark of the Covenant, and when It was
brought back to Ethiopia by the Divine Wisdom and Purpose revealed
in the Faith and Deeds of our illustrious Queen Mekkedda, the
prevailing Worship of God in Ethiopia was enhanced and continued
by Ethiopians who, as custodians of the Ark of the Covenant, remained
Temples of God themselves through the millennium until the Advent
into this world of the Living and Eternal Ark of the Covenant,
i.e., The Ethiopian Virgin Mary, Mother of God and Her Son Jesus
Christ, the Incarnate God.
The Incarnate God, the Ethiopian Jesus Christ brought nothing
new in particular to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel who
rejected the Ark of the Covenant, and to the world at large. He
simply reiterated the same old, established and known Teachings
of God, the Ten Commandments that were inscribed by Him, then
as the Divine Word, on the Hearts of the primal human couple,
and the amplification of the ensuing unbroken chain of the Holy
Covenant. (Matt. 5/17-20; 10/5; 28/18-20)
He simply rectified the wrong committed by Adam and Eve through
the instigation and collaboration of the adversary of God, known
as the Serpent, the Dragon, Satan and the Devil, and sustained
by their offspring; He purified all the contamination of Human
filth accumulated for millenniums on end, corrected every human
distortion of Nature, redeemed the Lost Creature of Humanity and
atoned for its transgression. He, thus, Restored and Renewed all
that was made by Him as the Divine Good and Unblemished constituting
His Kingdom, we Ethiopian preserved to this day, yes, Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God.
This Triumphant and Everlasting Divine Objective was achieved
by His Incarnation and Human Birth, Acts and Teachings, Fulfillment
of all the Prophesies, His Spiritual Warfare with the Devil and
the Victory attained over the Evil Forces, the Sacrifice of His
Body and the Shedding of His Blood, His Crucifixion and Death,
Burial and Resurrection, Ascension and the Pouring Out of His
Holy Spirit.
Hence, when we individually receive the Eucharist, i.e., Q'ddus
Qurban, this is the Sacred Phenomenon that takes place within
ourselves: Jesus Christ, in His Wholeness, i.e., in His Unity
of Divinity and Humanity, is actually present in our Complete
Self that comprises our Flesh, Soul and Spirit. At that instant,
we become the Renewed Temple of God, the Image of God that we
were before, now Renewed in the Image of the Incarnate Son of
God, Jesus Christ, the Son of The Virgin Mary.
Through such Act of Faith that we accomplish on our part, we substantiate
the Ultimate Endowment that God Our Father, through the Atonement
and Redemption of His Son, bestowed upon His Faithful Believers
and Followers: And that is the Endorsement and Confirmation of
that same essence of our being the Temples of God, completed and
revealed by the Eternal Divine Seal and Covenant of Mercy personified
in His Flesh and His Blood that each one of us willingly and lovingly
hosted within ourselves, not only in our physical body and the
human heart of our Soul, but also in our Spiritual Being by which
we were born of His Divinity through the Holy Spirit in the Holy
Sacrament of Baptism.
So, you need not bother yourself with the meticulous observance
of the unnecessary, cumbersome and impracticable abstinences that
we, Ethiopians, inherited from the Old Testament Jewish rituals
that came along with the transfer of the custody of the Ark of
the Covenant to Ethiopians 3000 years ago, the vestiges of which
rituals persisted even after our prophetic acceptance and adherence
of Christianity that rendered the former null and void, and whose
retention by any one of us who claim to be True Ethiopians would
otherwise make any of our pretensions and acts hypocritical.
We, therefore, advise you just to follow what your Ethiopian Conscience
of the Holy Covenant, in the inspiration and guidance of the Holy
Spirit, tells you how to behave and what to do after receiving
the Holy Communion. Our daily attitude and behaviour, including
that when we partake the Holy Communion, Q'ddus Qurban, should
not be different from those that Our Lord Jesus Christ and His
Holy Mother lived, did and instructed us to follow suit while
They, Both the Mother and Son, treaded the Earth as Humans. Always,
remember how Our Lord reacted when challenged by the similar incidents
that demonstrate our present situations of parallel nature:
"Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house,
that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down
with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they
said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax
collectors and sinners?" When Jesus heard that, He said to
them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but
those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire
mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous,
but sinners, to repentance. ...No one puts a piece of unshrunk
cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment,
and the tear is made worse. Nor do they put new wine into old
wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and
the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins,
and both are preserved. ...The scribes and the Pharisees ...bind
heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders;
but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers."
(Matt.9/10-17; 23/2-4)
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian Believer, you need
to be knowledgeable about such and all other minor and major issues
pertaining to Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianity. To achieve
this goal, you have to read those books and publications publicized
on our web site, including the Q & A Section.
By fulfilling this Ethiopian commitment, you will, not only benefit

So, we urge you to do that before you try to send us any more
questions on any item that relates to the above subject matters.
Wherever you are, this is the way to bring yourself, as an Ethiopian

Tena Yistilyn! Wishing You a Happy Christmas
on January 7th.
Just like your views on two points:
1) Why do we as Tewahedo Orthodox Christians do not eat any food
when we attend Kidasse on Sundays even if we are not taking the
Holy Quroban?
2) It has been said that there is a tradition that in the 2000
Millennium that falls in the year of St John, something will happen
- and it could either be the appearing of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ or some spiritual phenomena that will shake the foundations
of mankind! We are in year of St John, do you believe that anything
will happen during this year and are you aware of this tradition?
Beselam, Tesfa Mariam

|
|
Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Ato Tesfa-Mariam:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your email of questions.
While appreciating your good-wishes of Christmas, we realized
from your expression of the same and from your subsequent questions
that you are not well-versed at all with our website and the messages
it delivers. In the first place, we do not celebrate Christmas
on January 7. This is the celebration imposed by the Egyptian
(Coptic) Orthodox Church in Ethiopia on the wrongly so-called
Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
We, True Ethiopians and Members of the Tewahdo Church of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God already celebrated the 2nd Millennium Christmas
on Meskerem 1st, 2000 Amete-M'h'ret. In our Ethiopian Calendar
which is posted on the Home Page of our web site, you can find
that our Ethiopian Date of the Birth of Our Lord The Incarnate
God Jesus Christ and that of His Mother The Holy Virgin Mary is
being always celebrated on Meskerem One, which is our Ethiopian
New Year as well.
How is it that you didn't analyze, recognize and grasp this Divine
Truth on your own self so far? Please consult our published books
and website literatures to find out and know more about this fact.
Now let us come to cope with your two points:
1) Couldn't you yourself, in your common sense or normal thinking,
let alone as a Christian or religious person, determine what the
answer would be to your first question?
First of all, if you are going to Church and, there, attend the
Holy Prayer and Ceremony of Q'ddase, were you not taught that
the sole purpose of your pilgrimage to the Church and your attendance
is exclusively to partake of the Holy Communion? Otherwise, you
would not need either to go to Church at all, or stay there and
attend Q'ddasse in the first place. Why would you need to take
all that trouble? Only to return home empty-handed, remaining
filthy, feeling hungry and languishing from your ailments of evil
and sin and death that overwhelm your wholeness? And the option
of the spiritual power of discarding all these virulent and cumbersome
burdens is bestowed upon you just by the simple act of partaking
from the Holy Communion after repentance?
Therefore, to answer your first question of your email on our
part, let us provide you with an illustration: When you have appointment
with your personal doctor for medical examination, or to take
any medicine that needs to be effective, aren't you advised most
often to show up with empty stomach? In fact in some cases, you
are even instructed to take some laxatives hours prior your appointment.
Here is another relevant example: When you are cordially and individually
invited for a lavish meal, knowing what is waiting for you, and
preparing in your imagination to please your host, would you fill
yourself with any food and drink beforehand?
While it is considered necessary for anyone to abstain from earthly
food and drink for such carnal arrangements, how greatly important
would it be appropriate for that person to be physically, mentally
and spiritually fit, devoid of any impurity and well prepared
to receive and partake the Heavenly cleansing antidote, the curative
medication and the everlasting nourishment indispensable for one's
purity, health and life of wholeness at the Sacred Occasion of
the Divine Feast, i.e., the Qdasse!
Under such circumstance, how would you visualize the necessity
of eating and drinking earthly food and beverage before going
to and attending Church Service of Q'ddase? Don't you know that
the Prayer and Ceremony of Q'ddasse is the Preparation and Offering
of Q'ddus Qurban where the Heavenly Banquet of the Divine Flesh
and Blood of the Incarnate God is conducted in the Presence of
The Sovereign Hosts: The Holy Virgin Mary Mother of God and Her
Son The Incarnate God Jesus Christ through The Holy Spirit?
2) Yes, that something which you referred to in your email had
already taken place in Ethiopia just at the Midnight Inaugural
Celebration of Meskerem One, 2000 Amete-M'h'ret. Pursuant to the
Word of God, that Apocalyptic, Epochal and Phenomenal Episode
you mentioned was the Release of Satan (the Devil, the Serpent,
the Dragon) "for a little while" from his millennial
imprisonment that was accomplished 2000 years ago, by the Atonement
and Redemption of Our Lord Jesus Christ. (Rev. 20)
No one knows the duration of this "little while", except
to surmise from the Divine Word that says, "For then, there
will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning
of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless
those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the
elect's sake those days will be shortened." (Matt. 24/21-22.)
What follows at the end of this "great tribulation"
of a duration of "a little while", will be the Triumphal
and Glorious Return of the Conquering Ethiopian Lion of the Tribe
of Judah, Jesus Christ with His Eternal Queen Mother Ethiopia
that Stretched out Her Hands to God, The Virgin Mary.
For more enlightenment on this significant issue, again, we ask
you to read the Ethiopic (Amharic) Warning and Heralding Message
that is posted on the Home Page of our website.
All that we have elaborated for you herein, is only according
to the precepts of our ancient and indigenous Tewah'do Church
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God whose age spans 7,500 years; and
not according to that of the Church you are familiar with and
accustomed to live with, i.e., the Egyptian (Coptic) Orthodox
Church in Ethiopia, or the wrongly so-called Ethiopian Orthodox
Church, whose establishment in Ethiopia by Egyptians is claimed
to have been in the 4th century after the Birth of Christ.
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian, you need to be knowledgeable
about such and all other minor and major issues pertaining to
Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianity. To achieve this goal,
you have to read those books and publications publicized on our
web site, including the Q & A Section.
Wherever you are, this is the way to bring yourself, as an Ethiopian,
to the attainment of the True Life of Tranquility in Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God.

do it NOW. SO PLEASE, TELL ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO?
B) As we all know wrongly the current EOTC (Ethiopian Orthodox

so, should we leave this month's celebrity?

It becomes prevalent that the songs of Ethiopian
Orthodox Church are becoming like those of the protestants, and
the people is not considering the deteriorating trend of our Mezmurs.
So, what is the solution and what are you trying to do regarding
this negative development?
|

Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Ato Azariya Mamo:
Thank you for your recent email in which you expressed your concern
about the deteriorating condition of our Church Songs.
Don't worry. Our Church Songs survived so many adverse vicissitudes
in our long age of existence. From time immemorial, the Ethiopians
always maintain their Divine-inspired and unique Songs in their
worship of the One God of the Holy Covenant; and these priceless
assets are always developed and improved rather than deteriorate.
This was true before the Ethiopian Saint Yared of the Great Axumite
Period appeared with his wonderful refinement of the Zema; and
remains true after him which was witnessed during the Glorious
Days of Ethiopia's Capital of Gondar.
Let us, on our part, remain, as you are now, deeply concerned,
truly engaged and prayerfully devoted for the upkeep of what we
have, and wait with full confidence for the arrival of the time
when Our Lord God, on His part, ordains for the restoration of
Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God whose priority and preoccupation
through Her Branches of the Houses of the Priesthood and the Administration
would then be the preservation and revitalization of such precious
national and religious treasure of our Zema.
Until then, none of us can do anything except continuing to be
vigilant and pray, in our steadfastness, to survive the current
crisis, and to invoke the inspiration and guidance of the Holy
Spirit for the outcome that would prove conducive. In the meantime,
however, we need to allow every body to offer his/her praise to
God in any fashion, including singing, that seems to him/her appropriate
and acceptable to God, as this is the privilege of the individual
singer, just as the poet, the writer, the painter, the sculptor,
the carpenter, or the builder, etc., offers his/her professional
masterpiece in Praise to God.

Is the person masterbating can be virgin or
not? Please notify me; and also the person who makes masterbation
after taking holy communion, what he can do? And I have more questions
if you answer these questions. Thank you, and may God Bless you!

|
Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Ato Welde-S:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your
email carrying your question concerning masturbation (watch your
spelling of the word).
A "person" (and any reference to this term in our ensuing
response should be recognized as the Ethiopian, i.e., a Believer
in and Follower of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God of the Holy Covenant)
who masturbates is no more virgin morally (i.e., in Soul) and
spiritually, even physically. That person lost his/her virginity,
when he/she knowingly, willingly and intentionally succumbed to
the actual commission of the lustful act of masturbation. (This,
of course, excludes nocturnal emissions, i.e., in dreams.) By
that wanton act, the perpetrator has committed a sin, and he/she
becomes a sinner, according to the Word of God (Genesis 38: 8-10).
When one inherently feels the sensation and the urge to masturbate,
there and then is the natural signal given by The Creator to that
human person for him/her to realize that the time of the age of
his/her physical body has reached maturity, at which age he/she
has to look immediately and seriously for the Sacrament of Marriage
to be fulfilled, without any delays and excuses. Until then he/she
has to stay virgin through abstinence, not only from sex, but
also even from masturbation. That is why, the act of masturbation
is considered to be unnatural, therefore, a sin: In marriage,
sex is an act of righteousness; while its perversion, like masturbation,
is an act of sin, just as homosexuality is.
The person, who committed the sin of masturbation, therefore,
has to acknowledge it as a sin and repent for its commission,
i.e., he/she needs to ask the Divine Pardon from God, as he/she
is required to do so for any other sin; and believing he/she is
absolved from the sin, may continue to receive the Holy Communion
as usual, with trust that, through genuine repentance, any sin,
with the exception of apostasy, is already granted by God.
This does not mean that that person has to return to and maintain
such sinful behaviour. No, he/she has to abandon such behaviour
by abstaining from the act of the sin, i.e., masturbation. Here,
the alternative for the person to undertake will be to get married,
without resorting to any excuses for the delay to the contrary.
Such marriage is easily achieved with the person's complete trust
in God Who then, through the inspiration and guidance of the Holy
Spirit, readily offers the wife to the young male, and the husband
to the young female, as He had originally done to Adam and Eve.
Yet, if conditions do not allow the individual for all such remedies
to take effect, and the natural urge to commit the sin of masturbation
prevails, he/she need not panic and be discouraged and run away
from his/her stance of love of and faithfulness to his/her God;
he/she has a cause to persevere: Thanks to the Atonement and the
Redemption of Our Incarnate God, Lord Jesus Christ Born of The
Virgin Mary, he/she has to simply and sincerely continue to repent
every time he/she failed to resist the temptation and the urge
of masturbation; The Saviour knows his/her weaknesses more than
he/she does, because He is his/her Maker; He knows that particular
weakness, (and for that matter any of his/her human weaknesses),
including its intrinsic and subtle nature to the extent of its
paradoxical perplexity, whereby it is labeled as "weakness"
but its potentiality is so real and powerful that he/she are incapable
even to resist its temptation, let alone to do away with its commission.
At the time of such state of personal crisis, there might be moments
when he/she would feel deep anxiety or doubt as to why God condemned
him/her to such uncontrollable infliction and dilemma. There and
then, he/she needs to stay strong and confident: The truth of
the matter is, through the challenge of the person's current predicament,
God simply wants to see, whether the victim, remaining steadfast
in his/her Faith, really seek Him and truly love Him, or whether
he/she is easily discouraged and, failing the test, would run
away from Him in search of another god. Our God, when He permits
this entire episode to take place, He does not mean to let the
concerned person down. No; as soon as His Faithful Believer finds
himself/herself a fallen victim of the intransigent sin, God,
in His Omnipresence of the Holy Spirit, instantly comes to his/her
rescue.
That was why He ordained, for each one of us, to benefit from
the endless pardon to our sins committed daily, even if they seem
to be innumerable, as long as we, on our part, fulfill our obligation:
To be preoccupied with ceaseless Repentance. And Our Gracious
God did this to us, once and for all, just for one purpose: Yes,
in order that human beings in general, and we His Believers and
Followers in particular would never fall out of His Divine Care
and Protection of His Eternal Fatherhood and The Motherhood of
The Virgin Mary. His Words, Teachings and Parables, pertinent
to our sin and His Pardon, and written in all Scriptures, especially
in the Gospels, testify to this Truth. (Mat. 18/ 21-35; Lk. 15).
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian, you need to be knowledgeable
about such and all other minor and major issues pertaining to
Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianity. To achieve this goal,

Our 2nd Response:-
|
|
Dear Ato Welde-S:
Thank you for your recent email that carries your
compliments.
We are happy that you are satisfied with the answers
to your questions we provided you in our previous response.
From the single inquiry you made in your present email, we learn
that you seem to be unfamiliar with the contents of our web site;
you also seem to have no knowledge about who Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God is as well as about the Services we are rendering to Her.
Please be informed that neither do we call our Ethiopian Church
nor do we allow others to refer to Her as "Orthodox",
because She is not. In that context, we prefer to use our only
indigenous word of Tewah'do just to specify the Doctrine of our
Biblical Faith and Worship of God. We Ethiopians are older and
greater than orthodoxy. Orthodoxy is something that appeared lately
around the Mediterranean lands in the 4th century after the Birth
of Christ, and brought into Ethiopia by the Egyptians at that
time. We are The Ethiopian People, The Church and The Kingdom
of God of the Holy Covenant with an age of 7500 years that spans
from the time of Adam and Eve to this Day.
For you to know who Ethiopia and Ethiopians are, and for more
explanation and information about orthodoxy, read our books posted
on our web site, and consult all our various sections incorporated
therein.
God Bless you too.
Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.

|
3rd E-mail from Welde-S:-
|
|
Really I missed that to add Tewahedo for the
Orthodox, since I am in a hurry during that I wrote the letter.
Really it is not Orthodox rather it is Orthodox Tewahido which
I follow and you too I think. So would you please tell me that
you are the followers of the Orthodox Tewahido or not.
And how can I stop that to masterbate? Please
tell me the way. I tried many times, but still I can't; and my
age is 26 years old. Even I stopped taking Holy Communion, since
I do the same thing after taking Holy Communion; and now, I am
ashamed of it.
So, what kind of advice that you have for this kind of man? Please
tell me your advice.
|
|
|
|
Our 3rd Response:-
|
|
Dear Ato Welde-S:
Thank you for your recent email.
Here is a further explanation that hopefully meets your requirements:
1) Yes, we are the Faithful Followers and Proponents of our Ethiopian
"Tewahdo Doctrine", but not of the foreign word of "orthodox".
Again, please be well advised and best informed about the reason
why we do not accept the addition of the word "orthodox"
on our Ethiopian designation of Tewahdo: It is because the word
"orthodox", besides being foreign, (Greek) implies acceptance
and recognition on our part, the religious colonization and domination
imposed upon us by the Egyptian Orthodox Church in the 4th century
after the birth of Christ; it also implies acceptance and recognition
on our part, of our submissive subjugation to those foreigners
mentioned above, as well as of the distortion of our Ethiopian
Faith of the Holy Covenant that dates back to the time of Adam
and Eve, and ranges for 7,500 years of age.
Now, if you want to know in greater details and to understand
fully why we say our Church of Ethiopia is only "Tewah'do",
and why we do not want to add the word "orthodox", you
need to listen to our advice and read all our literatures that
are posted on our web site, including our published books, and
especially the responses contained in the Q & A forum. Rather
than sending us successively minor questions, such as the present
one that consume yours as well as our times unnecessarily, you
ought to fulfill this reading obligation most attentively and
thoroughly beforehand.
2) As to your question about masturbation (you still did not care
to correct your spelling error), everything essential for you
to know and to do has been communicated to you in our previous
response to your earlier email; we do not have much to tell you
more except the following points.
By the way, did you read my books posted on our web site, including
the three serial volumes entitled "ItioPia inna ItioPiawinnet",
particularly the first one? If not, this is going to be your problem:
It seems that you do not want to make any personal effort to solve
your own troubles; but you simply go on asking questions; you
only want others to make the effort for you and get the final
ripe and sweet fruit by the sacrifice of others, from which you
aspire to benefit, simply sitting back. No, this should not be
the case: You have to make your own efforts and sacrifices to
tackle and solve your own problems with the help we are offering
you. If you had read those publications, you would have certainly
not the need to write me asking these questions you put forward
in your emails.
Based on this fact, what you need now is to be prepared and to
get ready to read those literatures. There, you will find out
how you are spiritually empowered to control, not only the evil
oriented forces of your physical body (the flesh), but also the
evil tendency of your soul. Yes, through the Spiritual Being that
you have been born of God in the Holy Spirit, you are given the
helm of the unrestricted power to control your Flesh as well as
your Soul to do or not to do anything you want; such as, for example,
fasting. Look for your self: When your physical body, and even
your Soul, submitting to the wish of the flesh, want to eat and
drink, it is because of the Divine Power of your Spirit that both
the latter succumb to YOUR WILL to FAST.
Now, the same attributes and procedures apply to your case of
masturbation: You have to use the Will Power of your Spiritual
Being that should dominate the Flesh and even the Soul in you.
As the Spiritual Being in you is the Victorious Spiritual Being
of Jesus Christ with which you are already born of God in the
Holy Spirit, you are destined to vanquish the carnal temptation
of your flesh to masturbate.
If you fail to achieve that victory, even after several trials,
don't panic and feel despondent. No, you don't have to succumb
to the domination of sin. You need not imagine as if something
peculiar is happening in you, and to you. No, it is a daily and
normal occurrence that affects each and every human creation of
the Flesh, without exception, of course, excluding only Our Lord
Jesus Christ and the Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God. This occurrence
is one of the most particular and unfortunate situations through
whose misrepresentation and misinterpretation by the henchmen
of the Devil, that the Divinely Saved Humanity in general, and
the Ethiopians in particular, are overcome and fall victim to
the tentacles of the evil power and finally to death.
Here is where the Power of Repentance comes to the rescue of all
humanity in general and to your own rescue in particular: Yes,
every time you experience defeat, no matter how many times: seven
times a day, or seventy times a day, or even seven times seventy
times a day, don't worry: Through the Mysterious Divine Means
of the Sacrament of your Genuine Repentance to you Confessor and
High Priest Jesus Christ, which Spiritual Grace is acquired by
the Atonement and Redemption of the Incarnate God, you will be
completely absolved from your recurrent sin of masturbation, every
time you repented, at which instance you will feel it as if you
had never committed the sin at all.
And each times you accomplish this spiritual feat, it is not shame
that you will feel and experience, but an overwhelming joy, and
a complete newness within your wholeness. This is the mental,
physical and spiritual exhilarated mood that you will be possessed
with, by the time you present yourself to the Sacred Table where
you feast in partaking the Q'ddus Qurban.
However, after exerting all you can to fulfill these simple religious
and spiritual directives to the utmost of your ability, if you
still find yourself deficient and unsatisfied, be sure that the
failure is only due to your weakness to commit yourself completely
to God, in Faith as well as in Deed. Under such circumstance,
the only option that remains for you to resort to will be: Just
to persist in your solitary and devoted prayer to God and to the
Mother of God, accompanied by fasting and charity, until the Inspiration
of the Holy Spirit reveals Itself to you: At which time you will
surely sense the final contentment.
We send you our prayerful best wishes.
Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.

1st E-mail of Tibebe-Iyesus to HailePetros:
|
|
My Dear brother HailePetros,
This is NOT a joke. They are probably more serious than you and
I. This is a time of great spiritual upheaval. Please let us be
quick to hear, slow to speak, and leave judgment to the Judge
... lest, by chance, we find ourselves opposing the Holy Spirit.
Thank you and please pray for the One Holy Church of Christ, and
pray for me a sinful servant.
Tibebe-Iyesus
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness
and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the
earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

1st Response of HailePetros to Tibebe-Iyesus:

|
Dear Tibebe-Iyesus,
I know that you are busy, but have you taken a look at the doctrine
of these false prophets?
I would love to forward the e-mails [to you] that they have written,
but they are extensive, because this guy [or guys] take a month
to draft-up foolishness and then write back with pseudo-refutations.
They are worse than Jehovah's Witnesses and Evangelicals, because
they are masking themselves as 'orthodox', although they say that
the word orthodox is a foreign term forced upon Ethiopians: "Yep!"
"Don't confess to a priest, because all of the priests are
apostates..." Another quote from this group.
Pray for me please.
Sincerely in Christ our Very God,
HailePetros

|
2nd E-mail of Tibebe-Iyesus to HailePetros:
|
|
My lord,
Although I did not go through their website, I was impressed by
the Nibure'Id after reading a large volume he had authored. In
that book he raised a lot of burning issues and tried to give
his answers to them. Although I did not like some of his quite
exotic claims (Our Lord is an Ethiopian, was born on Meskerem
1, etc.) nor the tone (self-righteous??), generally I agreed with
him and even emailed to say thanks. I had no suspicion that he
was trying to break away from the church that he served for a
life-time (including as headpriest of Axum Tsiyon, Nibure'id!)
or start a new church. His getting entangled in etymological/historical
concerns, I simply took as an instance of eccentricity!
However, dear sir, he dares raise issues that everybody else seems
too afraid or careless to address. If he errs in the solutions
he advocates then he risks following in the footsteps of Luther
who initially did have legitimate cause against Roman excesses
and indulgences.
My real intention was to remind the teaching of Gamaliel: "And
now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone:
for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to naught:
But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be
found even to fight against God." (Acts of the Holy Apostles,
Ch. 5)
There is no denying that we are facing a crisis. Just repeating
His Holiness, His Holiness... is not going to get us anywhere.
Let us not shoot the messengers is all I am saying.
Thanks.
Tibebu

Our integrated Response to Tibebe-Iyesus for
the copy we received of the above E-mail exchange he made with
HailePetros:
|
|
Dear Ato T'bebe-Iyyesus:
This is to acknowledge receipt of and to thank you
for the copy of the email you sent me with the purpose of informing
me of the correspondence you undertook with Haile Petros concerning
that of our earlier one made between him and me.
To be frank with you, I intended to write you this
email after finding out, from the list of impending emails I browsed
today, that it was still there, "kept as new", and waiting
action. So, considering that it merits a positive response, I
resolved to send it to you accordingly, regardless of the overdue
delay incurred thereby, for which I apologize.
I admire your courage and outspokenness. We, Ethiopians
of the present generation, badly need this positive attitude and
course of action especially at this critical epoch of our precarious
existence, which subject I treated extensively elsewhere, and
which you might have probably came across.
Please accept my appreciation of your complimentary
views on some issues discussed in one of my books you read, and
particularly of your personal notion that you conveyed in your
email to Haile PeTros that would certainly help to dispel the
suspicions and presumptions of some people who may think otherwise
and in the negative terms with regard to my vocation, to the extent
of "trying to break away from the church that he served for
a life-time... or start a new church." to quote from your
own sentence.
Yet, I could not simply overlook your inexcusable
and severe remark that goes as far as labeling the Divine Messages
of the Divine Truth as "some of his quite exotic claims (Our
Lord is an Ethiopian, was born on Meskerem 1, etc.) which you
admitted by saying for yourself that, "I did not like, ...nor
the tone (self-righteous??)", again to quote from your own
writing. Since I have already expounded on and dealt with these
issues profusely in several occasions and in the series of my
email responses, and as I believe you might have read some of
those materials in my books and in the various forums of our web
site, I would leave it there only with a strong categorical refutation
of your above quoted observation. As the aforementioned observation
amounts to blasphemy, I exhort you sympathetically to submit yourself
to immediate and genuine repentance to your Divine Saviour and
His Holy Mother, if you consider yourself a True Ethiopian of
the Holy Covenant.
Let me respond briefly to the two remaining challenging
points included in the above quoted statement of yours: "I
did not like," and "nor the tone (self-righteous??)".
1) It does not matter with me "whether you liked it or not",
as it is your inalienable right to feel and say so. That is not
my guiding principle in my long-standing vocational career; it
has never been, and it will never be. The guiding principle of
my vocation remains always, as a servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God, only to be committed to and engaged in the Cause of Serving
the Divine Kingdom under the Sovereign Guidance and Protection
of the Priestly King Jesus Christ and of the Motherly Queen The
Virgin Mary.
Yes, we, in these Services, do serve people, but only through
the Divine Supervision of Our Priestly King and Our Motherly Queen;
and follow only Their Orders and Their Words through the Inspiration
and Guidance of the Holy Spirit. As Ethiopians, we are here only
to please Our Divine Sovereigns, and to please people only through
Them; and this is because, the services and the pleasures that
people need are deemed to be truly the ideal only if they are
rendered through Our Divine Sovereigns. Here, the difference between
us and those who serve humans, or man-made idols, material or
immaterial, physical or spiritual, and/or the Devil is distinctively
manifest.
This was the path I followed in my career of this service right
from the time of my childhood to this day. You mentioned in your
email my post as N'bure-Id of Axum Zion. Yes, all the official
posts I held prior and subsequent to that position were results
not of my personal desire or dream, effort, petition, pressure,
or social, educational, service, age, or birth status, or any
other merit that I know of, but simply of the Divine Will and
Ordinance that conduct the life of each one of us based on our
individual choices worthy of His Blessing. That is why I continue
to persevere in the pursuit of my service-oriented vocation even
in the current unrelenting adverse situation.
Now, be honest with me, as you are with God, to give your own
confession to yourself with regard to the following inquisitive
statement I pose to you: Had those Divine Truths and Messages
delivered by me and branded by you as "quite exotic claims
that you did not like" been brought up and told by any foreign
professional and/or authority, or even by any native Ethiopian,
who was educated abroad, or graduated from a foreign-oriented
modern educational institution with any degree or honour, let
alone with possession of a PhD or any sort of Doctoral Qualification
or Professorship in any field of learning and occupation, would
you imagine to have been as critical and as skeptical with that
person as you turned out to be with me? No.
This is the attitude of every Ethiopian of the present generation:
I do not mean only the secular, but surprisingly, also the religious,
the spiritual and even the pious. Do you see, how difficult and
terrifying it is for the generation to accept whatever is Ethiopian,
and presented by an Ethiopian, while it is easy and gratifying
for the same generation to accept readily and gladly whatever
is foreign, and presented by a foreigner? Your email correspondent
Haile PeTros, far from being immune from this malevolent deficiency,
made himself, in this aspect, a champion of the prototype of the
generation, when he typified, in his email to you, my first written
response I sent him as "foolishness" that took "this
guy a month to draft-up and then write back with pseudo-refutations"
.
However, God never sought for and called upon these humanly recognized
and acclaimed personalities for any of His Services; He always
looks for those individuals who are rejected and despised by the
secular world as foolish to convey His Divine Truth and Divine
Messages. We find this fact best exemplified in the following
quotation of the Word of God:
"Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the
weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling,
brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many
mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish
things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen
the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which
are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which
are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to
bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory
in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became
for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and
redemption- that, as it is written, "He who glories, let
him glory in the LORD." (1Cor. 1/25-31)
2) I could not understand how on earth would it be possible for
the Divine Truth or the Word of God, especially concerning Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God, ever to be told or communicated to others
in public, if and when, for anyone, simply to believe in the Divine
Faith of the Holy Covenant, and to live it by himself, as well
as only to speak and write about it, and finally to commit himself
to its services amount to victimizing his works with such label
of incrimination, as being "self-righteous tone".
Even if I know that I had already responded to the
final email of Haile Petros, and that this email to you may seem
outdated, I could not resist the temptation of disregarding the
resentful expressions directed towards me and our services that
appear in the copy of his email to you; and I deemed it necessary
to state herein our reaction to them:
1) This fellow seems to be chronically obsessed with the blind
maintenance of "Orthodoxy". It is perplexing to read
his email to you in which he alleged against us that "they
are masking themselves as 'orthodox'." I hope by now, he
is convinced that it is not us, but he and his likes that put
the mask of "orthodoxy" on their Ethiopian True Faith
and true faces. It is amazing to imagine how difficult it became
for him to understand the Divine Truth that we still claim that
the Ethiopian can never change his or her face or skin, which
implies his or her identity, by any means, including even by masking
himself or herself, according to the Prophet's Word of God (Jer.
13/23). As far as we, who belong to the Church of Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of Ethiopia, are concerned, we never wore the mask of
orthodoxy, but only Tewah'do. Even though he could not hearken
to what we say and write, that false allegation of him has been
categorically denied many a time, and this unwavering stance of
our Ethiopian Church was publicly declared.
2) His blind persistent advocacy to "the authoritarian power
of the clergy", that is reflected in his manipulated quotation
from our response that says, "Don't confess to a priest,
because all of the priests are apostates..." gives rise for
one to suspect that he seems to be determined to become an ordained
priest himself, so that the status quo should be maintained whereby
he would benefit from the possession and exercise of the authoritarian
power of the present clergy in the Egyptian (Coptic) Orthodox
Church in Ethiopia, or the so-called Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
3) From his allegation of making us "worse than Jehovah's
Witnesses and Evangelicals", one could quite evidently and
easily deduce that the Devil in him seems to be so angry with
us that he forced him to dare identify the servants of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God with those foreign religious congregations
he named, and even make the former worse than the latter. The
fact that he could not even control himself from uttering such
uncalled for and flagrant accusation against us simply demonstrates
the extent and the intensity of the desperate anger of the Devil,
who especially realized that his long established grip in Ethiopia
and among Ethiopians is radically threatened and destined to be
completely annihilated.
4) Again as to his reckless statement that reads, "this guy
[or guys] take a month to draft-up foolishness and then write
back with pseudo-refutations", the Word of God quoted above
and herein suffices to expose his true identity as being the medium
and spokesman of the adversary of God. (Matt. 21/42; 1Cor. 1/18-31;
2/14-16.)
Thank you again for quoting the teaching of Gemaliel:
It is perfectly a fitting and pertinent quotation that applies
to our case at hand.
I believed the Holy Spirit spoke through you in
your initial email. And let us continue to be inspired and guided
only by Him in all our Ethiopian commitments of the Holy Covenant
we retained with God for millenniums and to this day, and which
we continue to do so for Eternity.
N'bure-Id Ermias Kebbede Welde-Iyyesus,
Servant of Ethiopia: The Kngdom of God.

In the Name of the Father, The Son & The
Holy Spirit One God, Amen.
My dear brother in Christ Ermias Kebede Wolde
Eyesus, Nibure Id:
May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you
and your family as you continue to be a fountain and source of
inspiration to many! May Almighty God strengthen you and grant
you length of days in righteousness and peace to continue your
writing!
I have read your work " Ethiopia: The Classic Case";
and I am at present reading it for a second time. I find the quality
of your writing and the depth of your knowledge of the Ethiopian
Orthodox Tewahedo Faith, one I believe I can trust through the
Grace of the Holy spirit.
Is it possible for you to elaborate on the relationship of the
High Priest Melchizedeck in his relationship with Shem, Ham &
Japheth, the Sons of our Patriarch Noah. In your book you refer
him to be (if I am not mistaken) the root (Father of all Ethiopians):
I am slightly confused. Could you please help my understanding?
As Biblically, we only have Genesis, Psalms and Hebrews as our
source of information on the High Priest Melchezedeck. Although
I am aware of his relationship as a proto type of the Son of God:
"Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchezedeck."
(Ps. 110) together with the offering of Bread and wine He offered
to our father Abraham.
Thank you.

Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Gebre-Mikael:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your
email with remarks of compliments and expressions of prayerful
good wishes.
I apologize for not responding to your e-mail in
due time; as always, the delay was simply the result of my busy
schedule.
I am glad that you read my book, "Ethiopia:
The Classic Case" and found it enlightening.
I wish you read and understand our Vernacular Ethiopic
(Amharic). If so, you would have obtained the detailed information
you inquired about Melke-Zedeq from the books and literatures
that I produced in the above mentioned language and posted on
our web site. Until those works are translated into English, you
may still continue to visit our web site and peruse the materials
placed in the various sections, especially in the Q & A forum,
for some more enlightenment on the subject matter.
Now, for your immediate need of answering to your question you
raised in your email, let me briefly explain the following concerning
the same: According to our Ethiopian Tradition, Melke-Zedeq and
N'guse-Salem are dual TITLES each with two combined Ge'ez words
whose meaning is: The True King or The Righteous King, and King
of Peace or The King of Jerusalem, bestowed upon the Priest of
God whose name was "Ethiopis", our First Atsie, i.e.
Elect of God, from whose name the designation of "Ethiopia"
and Ethiopian" derived. (Ge'ez, claimed to be the dialect
of Adam and Eve, is our original and primordial, classical and
liturgical language still effectively in use by Ethiopians.)
The Three distinguished Melke-Zedeqs mentioned in the Ethiopian
Tradition and in Scriptures are:
The First One was the contemporary of Noah from whom he, i.e.,
the First Melke-Zedeq inherited personally the Sacred Heritage
of the Holy Covenants that Adam and Eve as well as that which
Noah himself had made with God, and who became the first Ethiopian
custodian of the same, and the Founder and Sovereign of the City
of Jerusalem;
The Intermediate One was the contemporary of Abraham by whom the
latter (Abraham) was blessed;
And The Last and The Eternal one was Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself,
whose predecessors including the above two were all about whom
the Psalmist of Ps. 110 and the Writer of the Epistle to the Hebrews
chapters 5-7 related.
It is narrated in the Bible that the three sons of Noah: Shem,
Ham and Japheth along with their respective offspring partitioned
the Earth, separated themselves from each other and were dispersed
throughout its expanses. This process developed to such an extent
that it finally culminated in classifying each one of the three
sons of Noah, as the ancestor and father of the branch of humanity
whose descendants, in their racial identity and skin colour, became
to be known: those of Shem, as Semites and "Reds" or
"Yellows", those of Ham, as Hamites and "Blacks",
and those of Japheth, as Japhetites and "Whites" respectively.
(Gen. 10)
While this reality still remains the actual state of affairs of
human experiences even today, the Divine Will to preserve the
unity of humanity and the assurance of its continuity after Noah
was effected by the birth of Ethiopis from the fusion of the selected
seeds of the three races through intermarriages of the same. With
the nucleus seed of the offspring of Ham united with the seeds
of the offspring of Shem and Japheth produced "Ethiopis",
the First Melke-Zedeq.
Here is the elaborate line and link of the tripartite racial union
brought about through the intermarriage that had begotten the
unique person named Ethiopis who was destined to be the precursor
of Our Lord Jesus Christ, possessing the Three Graces God bestowed
upon human beings He created in His Image: Divine Birth, Priesthood
and Kingship: On the first lineage, one of the elder sons of Ham
married one of the elder daughters of Shem, and begot sons and
daughters. On the second lineage, one of the younger sons of Ham
married one of the daughters of Japheth, and begot sons and daughters.
On the third lineage, the eldest grand son of Ham and Shem married
the eldest grand daughter of Ham and Japheth and begot a son.
And that son who was begotten from these grand children of two
quarters of the seed of Ham, and one quarter of that of Shem and
of that of Japheth each, is Ethiopis, the First Melke-Zedeq.
Let us all pray for the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit
in all our individual lives, professions and ventures.
N'bure-Id Ermias Kebbede Welde-Yesus,
Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.

Please talk to God for me because I have a
spirit who is constantly abusing me in everything. Thank you.

Our Response:-
|
|
Dear Ms Florence D.:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your email.
For us to satisfy your requirement, and because you used the small
letter for the designation of "god", we need to inquire
as to which or what "god" are you referring us "to
talk" to? Do you have faith in any god at all? Or, are you
nonbeliever? If you are a Christian, do you have Baptismal Name,
so that we invoke that name in our prayers to Our God for the
recovery of your health and well-being? If not, we will use the
above-mentioned name cited in your email.
Whatever your persuasion, we presume you have recognized our God
of Ethiopia and Ethiopians. That was most likely why you addressed
your email to our Services. If that is the case, our advice, is
as follows: This advice is based on the Biblical facts and extended
to you in accordance with provisions of the Holy Covenant that
Our God made with the seven couples who proved to be faithful
to Him. These couples are prominent figures in the chain of our
human ancestry that originated from and included Adam and Eve,
and consummated by and included Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary.
In order for you to get rid of yourself from "the spirit
that constantly abuses you in everything", you need not even
write us this email. You can "talk" to God yourself,
without any intermediary, because, God had already granted you,
as an individual, a special privilege that authorizes you to have
direct access "to talk" to Him spiritually. With this
Divine Privilege, you are empowered to use God's Omnipotence to
destroy the evil spirit and every vestiges of its venom in you,
provided that you have the genuine determination to do so.
Our God revealed Himself initially to the Universe in Creation,
followed by His Will to integrate His Divinity with the Soul of
our physical body, so that we became man and woman in His Image
as Adam and Eve. Then He was conceived in the Womb of the Virgin
Mary, to be born in the human flesh, bearing the Name of Jesus
Christ, and finally brought about our Salvation from Satan, Sin
and Death on the Cross, with the ultimate bestowal upon each one
of us, including you, His Holy Spirit.
If you truly believe in these ongoing and everlasting Graces of
the Divine Benevolence offered to you profusely and freely, and
be resolute to utilize it with full dedication, such mere resolve
of your mental perception at that moment will evict "the
spirit that constantly abuses you in everything", and you
will be filled, at that instant, with the Holy Spirit. For such
wonder to take effect, the commitments on your part are: 1) to
know God well, 2) to have complete faith in Him, and 3) to love
Him to the utmost, preferably, more than yourself, otherwise,
at least, as you love your good parents, children or spouse.
Under such circumstances, the evil spirit that took complete control
of yourself is expelled from within you, precisely at the moment
of your making such decisive change of mind for the better, that
is known as REPENTANCE. It is a fact that you, yourself, are the
one who previously invited and allowed the evil spirit to take
complete possession of your whole being through the way of life
you chose to undertake.
Now, the same process applies when you use the same pattern of
acceptance of the faith in Jesus Christ who, as the Incarnate
God the Son, was born of the Virgin Mary in the human flesh and
nature, crucified, shed His Blood, died, buried and resurrected,
ultimately to become triumphant over Satan, Sin and Death for
the Salvation of you, His human creation in His Image. By engaging
yourself in such effort, you are simultaneously extending, thereby,
an invitation to the Holy Spirit to take over your whole body
that was so far possessed by the evil spirit that constantly abused
you in everything. At that instant, the Holy Spirit reclaims dominance
of your body in its entirety: the physical, the mental and the
spiritual.
To fortify and help this process to materialize and become effective
in your favor, we suggest that you comply with the following arrangement:
Place a glass or cup of water in front of you and invoke the Divine
God, the Virgin Mary and the Holy Cross by saying, "In the
Name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, One God;
and in the Name of The Virgin Mary, the Holy Mother of God; and
in the Power of the Holy Cross on which Jesus Christ was Crucified
for the Human Salvation, including me!"
While uttering these words, make a sign of the Cross with the
fore and middle fingers of your right hand and move that symbol
three times over your face and your torso, as well as on the glass
of water. Then breathe on the latter (the glass of water), so
that it becomes Holy. Pour a small amount of the Holy Water on
your right palm and placing your left palm on the latter, rub
your face and body with both palms, and drink some of it from
the glass or cup, believing that you will be healed wholly. Continue
this procedure for three or seven days, fasting, i.e., always
before breakfast, or before taking any initial meal of the day.
For this process to produce the desired result, it is imperative
that your Faith in God has to be unconditional. Otherwise, you
can never withstand the continuous temptations of Satan. You shall
prevail in the various subsequent temptations of the evil spirit
only by being unconditionally faithful to God described above.
You have to say to the Holy Spirit these words from the bottom
of your heart:
"O God of the Holy Covenant! I believe in you. I worship
you in Truth and Spirit, because that is the way you accept and
prefer to be worshipped in. I present my whole self transformed
through genuine repentance. You yearned for that choice to be
made by every human being from the beginning of Your Creation,
from the time of the human progenitors, Adam and Eve. Thank you
for providing me with such opportunity to make that choice, of
my own free will.
"Not only that. You also willed to make me your Temple so
that You, the Holy Spirit, dwell in me, rather than dwell in the
human-made edifice, or allow the evil spirit to take possession
of me. When I failed to make myself worthy of that Divine Benevolence,
You became incarnate and atoned for my salvation by substituting
and sacrificing Yourself on my behalf. Finally, You restored me
to that ultimate goal of Everlasting Life in this and in the coming
world of Your Divine Kingdom, free of human and evil domination,
sin and death.
"You know whether I am sincere or not in these pronouncements
of the reality, better than even myself. So, help me if I am incapable
to attain that status. As for me, O, The Holy Spirit, from now
on, I fully commit my soul and my body to You, in recognition
of Your Benevolence and of my gratitude, regardless of whether
I continue to exist in my physical body or not."
Meantime and/or at the end of this procedure, you will feel and
witness the inspirational sensation that overwhelms your whole
being from within and from without.
Before concluding, there is a point that you should be aware of
with regard to this issue. The spirit "that constantly abuses
you in everything", is recognized under various names, such
as, the Serpent, the Dragon, the Devil, the Evil Spirit or Satan.
This evil spirit recognizes and believes the transcendent existence
and the prevailing power of God, more than you and us, humans,
do. But, what terrifies the Devil most and renders him powerless
to resist, is not merely the invocation of the designations of
God, but specifically that of the Virgin Mary and the Cross. The
reason why this adversary abhors the calling and the mention of
the Name of the Virgin Mary, as well as the indication of the
sign of the Cross more than anything else is the fact that God
vanquished the former (the Devil) by means of the human body of
the Virgin Mary that became incarnate and crucified on the Cross.
For more information and details, and to consolidate your personal
improvement and restoration, please read the contents of the Section
labeled "Faith" and the book entitled "Ethiopia:
The Classic Case" posted on our web site.
We pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire you to achieve success
in your present endeavor and to overcome the challenge you currently
face.

E-mail from Selamawi Amare, dated November
17, 2007:-
|
|
Dear Nibure-Id Ermias, Ethiopia Kingdom of God
Services servant,
I would like to express my deep heart-felt respect and admiration
for what you are doing with respect to protecting the Holy heritage
of Ethiopia and Ethiopians. I have found a lot of useful insights
from your book "Ethiopia: Ye'Alemu Meffareja" and "Ethiopia
inna Ethiopiawinnet". I also read your website and I have
heard a little about you from people who distantly know your family.
I appreciate your determination to stand in isolation and stigma
for what you believe is true.
However, there is one thing that is difficult for me to accept.
If you don't mind, I would like you to accept it as a serious
suggestion instead of a question. But still I would like you to
say something on it. My question is why did you choose not to
serve in an ordinary church either in Ethiopia or abroad? I have
read your manifesto that you don't identify with either of the
synods and you don't identify with the "Coptic" culture
in the church. That is respectable. But wasn't it better to be
in the church and try to produce as many disciples as possible?
Was there a time in history that the Ethiopian Church was completely
free of heretics? I think there always were heretics in the church;
may be today the magnitude is higher; but nothing different has
happened. What I am saying is during serious splits like the catholic,
the 'qibat' and 'kara', and other differences, the Ethiopian church
fathers fought from "with in" the church; and not by
staying out and saying "I am pure from the blood". I
think in the past the Church has gone through lots of threats
on its spiritual and administrative rituals. Definitely, churches
were sometimes put under control by aliens. But Ethiopian fathers
fought and got burnt in the Church with out saying "this
is under the control of an alien, so I don't identify with it".
So, wouldn't it have been more effective if you were in the church?
I have asked some people who are familiar with your books and
attitudes. Many of them do not have much problem to accept, or
at least take as an alternative explanation, what you have mentioned
in your books. But the only problem is you are not part of their
day to day spiritual and administrative experience. No matter
how dirty it is, some times I think strong people like you should
go into the dirt to bring others out of it. You have good spiritual
and secular world understanding. You could have been a guide to
many youngsters if you were part of their day to day world. There
r many fathers that I know who are sick and tired of the administrative
and religious procedures of the church. They concur at many points
with what you have written in your book. (For example, I know
a good respected "tirguame memher" in the north who
believes that Jesus was Ethiopian; but he never went out of the
church. He is still there; sad by current situations, but still
teaching.) They want to get their corner and stay out of everything;
probably by going to a monastery. But they think of the people
around the church and the youth in Sunday schools and they don't
go away; no matter how sinful the priests are and no matter how
wrong is what is being done. Rather they try to correct it by
teaching after liturgy, at "serk gubaye" and so on.
And usually they are fruitful. At least one person listens to
them and God also helps them. And they have no other system/branch
of spiritual service except the church. So why didn't you choose
that kind of path? I really need some explanation and perhaps
you should seriously think about it because you can produce lots
of disciples for the proper church education if you are in the
church. Even if you think that the spiritual power of the church
is gone, you can use the same spiritual power you now use to pray
for your families in a church you may be hired in or be in charge
of. Why not?
My other related question is are all the 35,000 churches in Ethiopia
now empty of Divine Power because of the administration? What
about great monasteries like Wald'ba, Axum Tsion, Debre-Wegeg,
Qull'bi etc.? Are they not still holy? How can we differentiate
which church we should go?
Dearly, Selamawi

Dear Ato Selamawi Mare:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your email with remarks
of compliment.
We apologize for not responding to your e-mail in due time; as
always, the delay was simply the result of our busy schedule.
I am glad that you read my books. I heartily appreciate your expressions
of good will and compassionate consideration that crystallized
in your presentation of positive recommendations which meant to
contribute to the enhancement of my vocation. In fact, being touched
by such cordial frankness on your part in matters of mutual as
well as personal concerns, I am obliged to reiterate here, what
we had stated in an earlier response to another email, though
of a negative nature, with similar attitude of frankness:
Yes, we, who are in the Service of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God,
do admire and appreciate such openness. This is a very rare phenomenon
among Ethiopians, because what Ethiopians unfortunately and inherently
lacked so far, from among positive elements in their personality,
is the simple but important virtue of frankness. The disposition
of frankness, complemented by sincere thoughtfulness, like the
one you have shown in your email, is not only surprising, but
also promising, because it is a good sign for what the present
Ethiopian generation desperately needs to foster. Ethiopians,
especially of this generation, if truly want to survive and develop
as the oldest independent and surviving nation on earth, as well
as to continue their survival as a healthy and prosperous one,
not only physically and materially, but also, mentally and, in
particular, spiritually, yes, one of the prerequisites that they
imperatively need to acquire is, surely, the disposition of frankness.
Soliciting your tolerance of that much wordiness for the preamble,
now, let me come to answering your questions and responding to
your suggestions:
1) As to "Why I did not choose to serve in an ordinary church
either in Ethiopia or abroad?" I did not make such choice,
neither was I granted the chance, nor the right, to choose. It
is the Church's authoritarians, the so-called synods or PaPasat,
the ousted and exiled as well as the incumbents, who arbitrarily,
illegally and uncanonically made the choice and the decision to
ban and banish me, even from my ancestral Parish Church of Saint
Qirqos of Addis Ababa, where my grandfather was the founding elder
priest (Qese-Gebez), my father was an executive priest, and myself
served from birth to this day as deacon, priest, elder priest
-succeeding my grandfather as Qese-Gebez- and finally as its Head
Administrator (Aleqa). This is, of course, leaving out the contemporaneous
higher official posts that I held along with the foregoing in
the various Houses of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, until the
advent of the reign of terror of Dergue.
Yet, don't think that I feel as if I am ousted from my Church,
the True and Indigenous Church of Ethiopia that remains always
part of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, and that my ancestors and
myself served and still serve. How on earth would one imagine
that I would be excluded from and would be outside of my Church
whom I served my whole life and still serve with dedication, even
if the adversaries aforementioned exerted and continue to exert
by all means all their efforts to ostracize me?
Do you think that, simply because the incumbent and the previous
Church authoritarians had passed secret decisions, without my
knowledge and without directly notifying me, and had taken such
brazen and drastic measure against me, that one could possibly
assume or consider me to be outside of my Church?
No, I am still in my Church, the legitimate Church of Ethiopia
with Her Rich Divine Treasures of the Holy Covenant and a span
of a Glorious Age of 7,500 years, which is being served everywhere,
in the mainland of Ethiopia and in foreign lands, by Her Contemporary
Faithful Clergy and the Laity whom only the Holy Spirit currently
recognizes.
It is the members of the twin synods and their accomplices who
are banned, ousted and banished, not only from the Church, but
also from the whole of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, not by the
human power or authority of excommunication, which they still
pretend to possess and presently boast of, but by the Divine Condemnation
of the Omnipotent Power and Authority of the Holy Spirit.
So, you see! I am challenging these apostates and these traitors,
of course with the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit,
not from without, but from within, and am combating them not only
spiritually and intellectually, but also actually and physically,
through the realities of my living body, my way of life, my word
of mouth, my literatures as well as through the modern means of
the mass media, including the internet.
The Incarnate God Jesus Christ did it Himself, and instructed
His Believers to follow His suit, and, they, His Faithful Servants:
Those before His Incarnation, His Prophets, and Those after the
Descent of His Holy Spirit, His Apostles and Disciples, as well
as His righteous and Martyrs, did the same. The struggle was always
from within; it has never been from without. And what my colleagues
and I, with the Inspiration, Guidance and Power of the Holy Spirit,
are currently engaged in is not different. Our struggle is primarily
from within.
So far we had fought, and are still fighting, and will never stop
fighting the same adversaries, not only from within, but also
from without; not only from every corner of Ethiopia, but also
from that of the Universe; not only the henchmen of the Devil,
but also the Devil himself. And, we are fighting them to the last
Triumphant Ditch attained by the Sacrificial Atonement of The
Ethiopian Lion of The Holy Covenant and of the Tribe of Judah,
Jesus Christ born of The Virgin Mary, which End and Occasion will
be the herald of His Glorious Return.
2) For all I stated to you heretofore, and for all
the realities that are obvious in what I have done so far, and
continue to do now, how would you understand and interpret the
sense and the significance of your statement that says, "I
am pure from the blood", and how would you apply it to me?
I am doing what I am required to do in service of my Sovereigns
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our
Holy Queen Mother The Virgin Mary, to whom I am directly answerable
as any True Ethiopian is. But, as regards the current transgression
of the Holy Covenant perpetrated and being committed by the present
Ethiopian generation, I cannot be part of the human blood with
which the hands of my adversaries, the opponents of the Divine
Truth, are stained and where the shedding of the blood grew, not
only to be handful, but also overflowing. Here, I have nothing
to do with my adversaries, except to continue to offer my prayers
for the Mercy of God towards them, through the invocation of the
Holy Covenant sealed by His Incarnation from The Virgin Mary and
His Redemption of humanity from eternal perdition. And From this
point of view, I must say, "I am pure from that blood".
Why do I persevere in my lifelong commitment of serving with resolve
the causes of Ethiopia: The Kingdom God? The answer is simple
and clear: By fulfilling my obligation as an Ethiopian, it is
to absolve myself from being accountable for any accumulated crime
or sin, and in order not to finally shun the responsibility that
is inevitable to be incurred at the Last Judgment. Yes, from this
point of view, I cannot circumvent in any way the verdict to be
rendered and the requirement to be demanded by the Supreme Divine
Authority and Judge. And your statement, "I am pure from
the blood" remains in force upon my head to the last.
3) I cannot help but to impart with you, in testimony of the Divine
Truth, the fact that I do not condone either the attitude or the
action of those Ethiopian Orthodox Church intellectuals or scholars,
to whom you referred as "Church Fathers".
Please note that I always refrain from using such reference, for
fear of denial of the admonition of Our Lord in which He said,
"But you, do not be called 'Rabbi'; for One is your Teacher,
the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth
your father; for One is your Father, He who is in Heaven. And
do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.
But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever
exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will
be exalted. (Mt. 23/8-12)
It is needless to relate to you, here and now, all the catastrophic
consequences of the status quos, witnessed throughout our Ethiopian
existence of millenniums, which testify to the detrimental attitude
and behaviour of the majority of our leading learned men, the
so-called "Church Fathers". There and then, they are
found red-handed rendering help, encouragement, and strength,
not to the Sacred Cause of Our Faith of the Holy Covenant, but
to that of the Devil.
Their actions were deliberate. Even if ignorance, infidelity,
timidity, fear, naiveté, silence, submissiveness, greed,
elusion, indifference, subtlety, connivance, opportunism, etc.,
were utilized by them, they could and would not serve as excuses.
Such negative manners of human weaknesses and tools of the Devil
have never ever been mentioned in the enhancement of the worship
of The True God of the Holy Covenant. The opposites of the aforementioned:
Knowledge, loyalty, confidence, valour, wisdom, outspokenness,
resistance, generosity, honesty, concern, transparency, revelation,
integrity, etc., were the positive characters of human potency
that had been utilized by Our Predecessors, the Gallant and Trustworthy
Servants of God of Ethiopia and Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant.
I invite you to visit recent additions to the Q & A forum
of our web site for details about the special significance of
status quos.
Just to mention, as an example, one of those virtuous strong characters
reserved for the choice and use of our predecessors, I need not
go far or deep, but simply refer to your own valour to come up
with your e-mail of cordial frankness and constructive suggestions.
What Our Father God and Our Mother Country all the time need are
persons like you, not like those whose attitude and action you
commended and offered to exemplify the case in point. God never
needed or called politicians and diplomats, or any one who acts
as such, to deliver His Message or undertake His Service. Those
branches of the profession are only meant for people without God,
for seculars, for imposters, for apostates, and for the henchmen
of the Devil who is himself "the Liar and the father of lie
itself" and whose "deceit" constitutes the base
and core of his own being and his makeup of deception. (Jn. 8/44-45)
4) Our predecessors, similar to what the present
Ethiopian generation is undergoing today, experienced in the past
several horrendous incidents that used to crop up once in a while
in the life span of the Faith of the Holy Covenant that God made
with Ethiopians. And one of these is proven to be the pernicious
misdeeds of "false teachers", or "false fathers",
or, in the Words of Our Lord, of "false prophets who come
to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves".
The latter include those who, through their apparent teachings
and exploits, distort and abuse the Message of the Divine Truth
of the Holy Covenant to the extent of deceitfully presenting It
as a genuine one, in the guise of the image of authenticity devised
by Satan himself. They are preoccupied with such sinful manipulation
just to gratify their own carnal and worldly benefits. (Mt. 7/15-20)
Let me briefly tell you, a little more about those "Church
Fathers", recalling some relevant features from a previous
response with similar context. In your email, you referred to
them as exemplars whose attitude and action I need to emulate
for the success of my current calling; and these are the ones
who, in your opinion, being within the Church, seem to disseminate
the true teachings of the latter and produce more disciples.
To that suggestion, the scriptural accounts of Saints John the
Baptist and STifanos the Deacon may be pertinent to relate and
provide clues of helpful revelation. However, since everyone,
including you, knows well enough about the faithful services and
martyrdoms of both these Holy Men, I refrain from going into the
details of the accounts, and confine my exposition to simply pointing
out few correlations between the latter and the question at hand.
For an Ethiopian, to deserve to be qualified for membership of
the Church of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, let alone to be called
"Church Father", requires more than what is being done
and pursued by the latter. The uncompromising prerequisite for
the attainment of the aforementioned status of membership and
"fatherhood" is martyrdom, more than anything else.
By martyrdom, I do not mean the jeopardizing or sacrificing of
one's life by shedding one's blood for the cause of the True Church
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. That is the Special Favour and
Honour to be opted for by any pious individual himself or herself,
and to be bestowed upon by God the Holy Spirit.
By martyrdom, I mean what each and every one who claims to be
True Ethiopian, as Faithful Believer and Servant of Jesus Christ
and The Virgin Mary, ought to do on his or her part: And that
is, first to know thoroughly about and believe honestly in the
Divine Truth about Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and the Ethiopianhood;
and then, to give testimony of this belief in front of the Incarnate
God and His Holy Mother in the worship of the Divine Truth and
the Holy Sprit, and to live It as such; and finally, to proclaim
about It publicly without fear of anyone, but only with the Spiritual
Fear, Blessings, Wisdom and Power of God.
However and unfortunately, what we are currently witnessing from
most of these "Church Fathers" is not this noble and
sacred act of martyrdom, but the resemblance of the undertakings
and manipulations of "false prophets", or politicians
or diplomats, to the extent of collaborating with the adversaries
of God of the Holy Covenant of Ethiopia.
Look at Our Leaders Jesus Christ and His Holy Mother, The Virgin
Mary, as well as at their Followers, who serve us as our Examples
and Role Models: They all could have avoided every sort of persecution,
crucifixion and martyrdom, by conforming with the contemporary
and prevailing state of affairs, as do the present so called "Church
Fathers" and the rest of the laity, clergy and the authoritarians
of the Church. But the latter, without exception, did not prefer
to pay that sacrifice for their Faith of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God of the Holy Covenant. Those, the former, did what their
Faith required them to accomplish: First and foremost, they learned
and knew about It, believed in and lived It; then they taught
and preached It; finally, they died for It as Martyrs.
Today, what the Church of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God needs are
"Church Fathers" who stand and fight for the Divine
Truth in spiritual dynamism, and who are even prepared to sacrifice
their lives for the Sacred Cause Saints John the Baptist, STifanos,
the Deacon, PeTros, the Ethiopian Patriot, Mary, the Magdalene
and Krstos Semra, the Ethiopian Mediator were Martyrs. Yes, this
is what is expected of the "Church Fathers" of the present
generation as exemplified by True Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant
that include you and those in the Service of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God.
5) As this is the final critical period of our survival
as True Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant within Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God, each one of us who claims to be True Ethiopian, needs
to come out of his or her detrimental pretensions and be outspoken,
as you had displayed in your present e-mail, by openly identifying
himself or herself with whom or against whom he or she is. Yes,
each one of us has to make the bitter choice of declaring and
acting, accordingly, whether he or she is with the Coptic (Egyptian)
Orthodox Church in Ethiopia, which is the so-called Ethiopian
Orthodox Church, or with the True and Indigenous Church of Ethiopia
which is the integral part of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God whose
Basic Creed is the Holy Covenant and, the Basic Doctrine, Tewah'do,
as enshrined in the hearts of True Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant,
and inscribed in the documents posted in the section of "Faith"
of our web site.
Such bitter choice is the decisive factor that distinguishes the
True Ethiopian from the false one, in any field of livelihood
and profession. There is no other way or alternative in the choice
for each and every one of us to decide and make. Each and every
one of us has to identify himself or herself with the True Ethiopian
Church, expose the falseness of the status quo, and testify to
this Divine Truth by willingly committing himself or herself to
the required martyrdom of the present time, as "Ethiopian
fathers fought and got burnt in the Church without saying 'this
is under the control of an alien, so I don't identify with it'",
to quote your own statement.
6) As to participating in the "Serk Guba'es",
one incident may suffice to cope with your suggestion: Prior to
that verdict of banishment passed on me by the incumbent Church
authoritarians, over and above the previous ones, a program was
arranged by representatives of my own Parish Church for a presentation
of a sermon on the last day of one of the annual F'lseta's Fasting
Seclusions to which I was the invited speaker. That arrangement
was bungled with an overt and deliberate act of sabotage, leaving
every person present to a state of bewilderment.
7) Be reminded that the vocation we in the Service of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God had embarked upon is not something that is
humanly conceived, constituted, established and directed. It is
the exclusive and unique Divine Creation of the Holy Spirit. We
are simply a willing, obedient and dedicated team of Servants
of the Holy Spirit. Despite our adversaries' prevalent and energetic
opposition against our Services whose entire focus is on the Cause
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom, look, how persons like you are enthused
to communicate and share their views openly and constructively
with us!
Whose work do you think this is? If it is not of the Holy Spirit,
who else's would it be? None, except being that of the Holy Spirit.
It is only through the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit
that the Divine Truth and Will, revealed and consummated 2000
years ago by The Incarnate God Jesus Christ Himself born of The
Holy Virgin Mary, will be manifest, on the Divinely Appointed
Day, to those blind apostates and unbelievers, in its immutable
and everlasting Triumphal State of Awe-inspiring Glory.
8) You have mentioned something about the necessity
of producing disciples on my part, as it is customary for others
to do. Whose True Discipleship is that to which Ethiopians of
the present generation are called upon to receive? Mine or any
human being's? No, nothing of that sort. The Discipleship offered
to be received by any willing member of the generation is that
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God whose inspiration, calling and
electing is conducted through the Holy Spirit. Presently, it seems
to me that you yourself are the one Disciple called by the Holy
Spirit to remain Faithful to and continue to serve your True Faith
and Identity, Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God of the Holy Covenant.
9) The root malady of our existing situation, in which the present
Ethiopian generation is languishing, has been already solved and
remedied, fundamentally and eternally, once and for all, by the
Consummate Divine Work of Atonement and Redemption of Our Lord
Jesus Christ Himself. And one of the components of this Divine
Grace is: The Natural and Spiritual Aptitude bestowed upon each
one of us by the Holy Spirit to Make ourselves the Temple of God,
of Him, the Incarnate God, our Priest and High-Priest, and of
His Holy Mother The Virgin Mary.
This goal, if only we have the sincere desire and the complete
willingness to acquire it, is rendered achievable, and the status
is made attainable through our personal commitments to the Adherence
to the Faith of the Holy Covenant, as well as to the Exercise
of the Sacraments of Repentance and Partaking of the Holy Communion,
as authenticated by both the Covenants of the First and the Last
Melcke-Zedeqs, the Last being Jesus Christ.
Once this status, i.e., the status where one raises himself or
herself up and become the Temple or Church of God, is personally
acquired in line with the procedure stated above, for that True
Ethiopian, to remain at home and worship God individually or with
the family is rendered completely viable. Now, even if this person
chooses to go to any church and participate in the Service there,
he or she is at liberty to do so.
The current dilemma, in which the present Ethiopian generation
is stuck, both in Ethiopia and worldwide, should not be considered
as something peculiar. It had appeared at every stage and in every
age of the Nation's existence. However, in order for His True
and Faithful Followers be capable to cope with such grave and
trying periods, there is a guideline that Our God of the Holy
Covenant had granted and prescribed for them to abide by. And,
this is His Word that we, Ethiopians, need to obey and apply:
"Come, My people! Enter your chambers, and shut your doors
behind you! Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until
the indignation is past! For behold, the LORD comes out of His
place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity!
The earth will also disclose her blood, and will no more cover
her slain. (Isaiah 26/20-21)
Of course, the prevailing harsh condition of our Country, Church
and People remain in effect only until the present gloomy state
of affairs of all the Three Houses of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of
God, at home and abroad, is totally cleansed through the Purging
Grace and Power of the Holy Spirit.
10) The 35,000 Rural, Metropolitan and Monastic
Churches across Ethiopia and overseas, including those you mentioned
by their names, will, I believe, remain holy, as long as they
are found, in the eyes of the Holy Spirit, even harbouring only
two or three members among the clergy and/or the laity who are
Faithful to the Holy Covenant of God that Ethiopia and Ethiopians
preserved to this day. Otherwise, how can any True Ethiopian,
or, as a matter of fact, any Christian, who is truthful to his/her
religious faith would ever conceive of the possibility of the
presence of the Holy Spirit, where the Holy Covenant of God is
blatantly denied and overtly violated by all so-called believers
and ecclesiastics? (Mt. 18/ 19-20)
You may find hints of relevant answers from our responses given
to several other e-mail questions posted in the Q & A Forum
of our web site Home Page.
Praying for the continued Blessings of the Holy
Spirit to all of us, wherever we live, and in whatever virtuous
occupation we are engaged, I wish you all the best.

Servant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God

E-mail from K'nfe-Gebriel
about MAH'BERE-Q'DDUSAN, dated Nov. 6, 2007:-
|
|
I am (was) a regular attendant of your web page.
Especially I visit your question and answer part. But the message
you wrote about MAHIBERE KIDUSAN made me amazed. I further tell
you that it triggers serious reaction. I don't want to blindly
argue about Mahibere Kidusan. But I have many observations of
the organization. And I dare say that you have written a very
biased and unnecessary message regarding this organization.
Do you know what this organization is doing currently in the country?
Let me forward some: This organization publishes magazine and
newspaper called Hamer and Sima Tsidk. Both publications are distributed
worldwide for Ethiopians and all teach about Tewahido. Was that
sin? Who else do you see doing that? In addition to this, the
organization has published hundreds of books, in many millions
of copies, all witnessing and teaching about Tewahido, the covenant
we got from Our LORD and etc. In every colleges and universities,
this organization has established GIBIE GuBAES, where every Tewahido
member student learns about his/her religion Tewahido. Nowadays,
thanks for the effort of this organization, a spiritual education
curriculum is developed by this institution, and supporting books
are published in many thousand copies and are being distributed
to students ( many for free and some with reasonable pay) at colleges
and universities. Who else do you see doing this? If you go to
the rural area, and in fact in urban areas too, this organization
has developed many income generating projects for and many churches
and monasteries are now becoming economically self dependent.
Who else do you see doing this? This organization is paying salary
for ABINET MEMHRAN on remote corner of the country so that they
will not be displaced. Who else do you see doing this? For those
who live abroad, the organization has developed web site. The
main aim of this web page is to preach Ethiopians about their
religion Tewahido. Was this a crime? In every church you go, members
of this organization are doing their level best for their religion
Tewahido. In every corner of Ethiopia, you will find the cell
of this organization starting from kebele (the lowest administrative
unit) up until the top. All this doing of the organization is
to support the church in various dimensions. So many spiritual
song and preaching are prepared by VCDs, DVDs, cassettes. Who
else do you see doing this?
I can testimony many more. But you are writing messages which
are diametrically opposite to what this organization is currently
doing. With due respect, I am telling you that you have made a
very big mistake. I am not arguing that they are perfect. If there
is any mistake they commit, as a father, advise was expected from
you rather than scold, insult and unnecessary comments. You, being
in America, may not know the reality in the country. There is
a very high pressure of Muslims and other enemies to down our
church. This organization is among the strongest organizations
who are trying to defend this. This is the time to unite and defend
our faith. Not to divide and eat ourselves, our sons and daughters.
The so-called fathers divided the synod into two, and wandered
the followers on this critical time where pressure is becoming
strong from every side. You again are disseminating unhealthy
comments on the last organization the church had. Where to go?
Is this wisdom our Lord taught? The strong and unhealthy critics
you fire upon one another are killing many souls and GOD needs
the blood from your hand, especially those of you who do have
strong spiritual education and are priests. Please teach us the
gospel, not hatreds upon one another. The government on one hand
tells us our difference rather than our unity. Our historical
enemies too are doing their best to divide the nation. Our only
hope was (is) our church. Unfortunately, you members of the clergy
are always denouncing one another. Where to go for your sake?

Our Response to your questions
:-
|
| |
In the Name of the Divine Father, the Divine
Son, and the Divine Holy Spirit, One God!
In the Name of Our Holy Mother and Country, Temple and Queen
The Virgin Mary Mother of God!
In the Power of the Holy Cross of Our Saviour and Priestly King
Jesus Christ!
Ethiopian Greetings!
Dear K'nfe-Gebr'el:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your
recent e-mail. We apologize for the delay of our response caused
by our busy schedule as usual.
By the way, be informed that my home is in Ethiopia; I am living
here in my country, not in America, as you indicated in your email.
Although I travel thereto once in a while to render my services
to Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant and Servants of Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of God, I still reside in Ethiopia with my family. It
is while I am in my home-country, Ethiopia, and not in America,
that I received this e-mail of yours and responded to you hereby.
I am glad you expressed your sentiments with open heart. We, who
are in the Service of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, admire and
appreciate such openness. This is a very rare phenomenon among
Ethiopians, because what Ethiopians inherently and unfortunately
lacked so far is the simple but important virtue of openness.
The disposition, like the one you have shown in your openness,
is, not only surprising, but also promising, because it is a good
sign for what the present Ethiopian generation desperately needs
to foster. We, Ethiopians, especially of this generation, if we
truly want to survive and develop as a healthy and prosperous
nation, not only physically and materially, but also, mentally
and, in particular, spiritually, yes, one of the prerequisites
that we imperatively need to acquire is, surely, the disposition
of openness.
Besides, we found your open e-mail a source of incentive for us
to elaborate several unheard-of features that have relevance and
significance to the focal issue you raised therein, with some
details, concerning Mahbere Q'ddusan. And this issue is the one
that requires proper handling and consideration on our part amounting
to thorough examination and detailed explanation, as well as inviolable
protection of the Ethiopian Living Heritage and Identity. Please
note that terms such as "the Church" or "their
Church" and "they" or "them" or "Association",
wherever they occur hereunder, mean to refer to the Ethiopian
Coptic Orthodox Tewah'do Church and to Mahbere Q'dusan, respectively.
As an outsider, I cannot claim to know everything about Mahbere
Q'ddusan; but I have some knowledge about them, even if it may
not be as much as you do. We, in the Services of Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of God, had taken, on our part, the initiative of making
the appropriate approaches for mutual contacts with the Association,
accompanied by gifts of our books. If you had visited and consulted
our web site, you could have learnt of such measures from our
relevant letters and various responses to e-mail questions posted
therein, wherein they are expressly stated. But they, Mah'bere
Q'ddusan, on their part, being unwilling to maintain any connection
with us, chose to remain unresponsive and uninterested, unfriendly
and covertly antagonistic, rendering all our efforts for cordial
relationship useless. Even the gestures they showed once in a
while, in the way of reciprocity that was prompted by our earlier
approaches, were never realized. Those gestures extended to us
through requests for personal interview by some of their leading
officers, and which requests were accepted by our Services, were
all aborted by them for unknown reason on our part, and even without
informing us of the cancellation.
Of course, what Mahbere Q'ddusan are doing from the beginning
to the present is commendable as far as their commitment to the
specific cause they stood for is concerned. But when viewed from
the perspective of The Divine Truth, what they are doing is not
enough: They have to go further and deeper, outside the scope
of their present confinement of the status quo, in search of the
remedy for the underlying syndrome of malady that remains the
main cause of our national ailment and retardation for centuries
on end. Yes, they have to proceed with dynamic willpower in their
search for that remedy until they arrive at the Divine Truth about
Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianhood, by the power of which
that chronic national curse called the status quo shall be radically
exterminated. It is only there and then that they will prove themselves,
beyond any reasonable doubt, to be True Ethiopians who serve only
their own Mother Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God and Her People,
Her Church and Her Administration, and not any other cause that
pertains to Her adversaries.
I do not want to infringe, in any way, upon the rights of any
body let alone theirs. Whatever they do, it is their privilege.
However, I always respond and present my opinion regarding them
only when I am asked to do so about them, just as you have done
now through your e-mail. Please beware of this initiative of yours.
As it had happened previously, via other e-mail inquiries, now
also, the instigation to make me respond concerning them came
not from me, but from you; you are obliging me to reply to the
allegation you put across in your e-mail. I am not to blame for
the reaction that my response may engender from any corner.
From your e-mail, one could easily deduce that you already prejudged
in favour of them and against us. Why? Because you are well-informed
and intimately know about them on one side, whereas, on the other
side, either you know nothing, or are misinformed about us. If
this is the case, you have already jumped to make your own biased
conclusion against us. And that is not fair. Under the circumstances,
I would have not been bothered to deal with your e-mail at all,
until you assured me that you have enlightened yourself with the
knowledge of who we are and what we are doing as Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of God Services, at least through the books and literatures
posted on our web site. But, setting aside such course of action
just for one time, I will proceed with commenting on the substance
of your e-mail.
You see: This is another one of the main deficiencies that handicapped
the healthy process of our mutual understanding among Ethiopians
of the present generation. We do not exert and commit ourselves,
to the utmost of our ability, to the pursuit and attainment of
the truth, not the human or the Devil, but the Divine Truth, before
we pass our personal judgments on others. For such human deficiency,
we need to heed to what Our Lord Jesus Christ reprimanded us,
saying, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in
the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the
measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at
the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention
to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother,
'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there
is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank
out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the
speck from your brother's eye. (Matt. 7/1-5)
What God, Our Creator, Provider, Saviour and Priestly King, personified
in the Incarnate Jesus Christ, and Our Holy Mother of God, Our
Country Ethiopia, and Ecclesiastical Queen, personified in the
Virgin Mary, together with Their People require of the present
young generation of Ethiopia is to search for and find the Divine
Truth, as I mentioned earlier, not the human or the evil truth,
but only the Divine Truth. However, it is so surprising to witness
the contrary: The fact that Ethiopians of the present generation,
even after two millenniums of years lapsed, are still falling
short of the maturity and faithfulness of their Ethiopian Religion
of the Holy Covenant.
They do not as yet bother to bring themselves to the standard
status whereby they will be qualified even to ask the question
put forward by the gentile Pontius Pilate to Our Lord Jesus Christ
saying, "What is truth?" let alone for them to be fit
to recognize, believe and live up to The Divine Truth, as their
ancestral predecessors did. And these ancestral predecessors of
the present Ethiopians were known, in their respective contemporaries,
as Ag'azians, Axumites, Christians, Zagwes, Amharas, and Ethiopians.
To that question of Pilate, Our Lord Who is Himself the embodiment
of The Divine Truth answered beforehand, "For this cause
I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that
I should bear witness to the TRUTH. Everyone who is of the TRUTH
hears My voice." (Jn 18:37-38)
The other setback that this Ethiopian generation is infected with
and suffering from, along with the foregoing one, is the temperament
of naiveté or greed, or both, in its outlook towards everything
that is foreign. So, all the adversaries of Ethiopia, whether
they are secular or religious, utilize these elements of weakness
to mastermind whatever manipulation they deem necessary to play
on the latter for their domination and exploitation as well as
for the destruction of what is Ethiopia and Ethiopian.
With the foregoing statement serving as a preamble, let me point
out to you few highlights that distinguish our Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God from your Mah'bere Q'ddusan:
First of all, you must realize that we are serving Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of God, in which the Church of Ethiopia (the House of
the Priesthood) is one of the two integral Houses that branch
out from the main House of the People, the other branch being
the House of the Administration (i.e., the Government).
Whereas, Mah'bere Q'ddusan, are serving only the Ethiopian Coptic
Orthodox Tewah'do Church. As such, it is quite evident for any
one to see the fundamental difference that exists between their
and our religious basics and with those of the scopes, magnitudes
and purposes associated thereto.
Secondly, we, in the Service of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God claim
that The Church of Ethiopia, with Her foundation laid by God Himself
at the time of Creation as one of the Tripartite Entity of His
Kingdom, with Her life span extending for 7500 years, and as the
only unique and indigenous religious Entity of Ethiopia.
Whereas, Mahbere Q'ddusan believe in and serve a Church that is
foreign-oriented and officially recognized to be established by
the Egyptian Orthodox Church in the fourth century after the Birth
of Christ.
Thirdly, based on the above premises, the Service of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God follows and propagates the Teachings and Traditions
of the indigenous Ethiopian Divine Truth of the Holy Covenant,
by maintaining and consolidating all those elements that are Truly
Ethiopian and beneficial, after, of course, identifying and rejecting
all those appendages that prove to be alien and damaging to what
is purely Ethiopian. Here are few examples from among the many
Sacred Heritages that merit cleansing and retention for their
Ethiopian significance:
a) The identification of The Virgin Mary Holy Mother of God as
"Ethiopia", and as such, of Her Son The Incarnate God
Jesus Christ as an "Ethiopian";
b) The identification of the "Ark of the Covenant",
i.e., the Tabot and Ts'llat, as The Virgin Mary Holy Mother of
God and as Her Son The Incarnate God Jesus Christ;
c) The present implication and utilization of Tabot/Ts'llat in
relation to the New Testament Doctrine of Incarnation;
d) The Mysterious Transformation of the human body of a True Ethiopian
Believer of the Holy Covenant into a Living Sacred Temple of God
upon whom the Divine Graces of being the Child, the Royal and
the Priest of God are bestowed, in the Order and because of the
Covenant of Melke-Zedeq and through the Blessing of the Holy Spirit;
e) The use of MATEB in the Ethiopian Sacrament of Baptism to be
effected with the three threads each coloured in green, yellow
and red, representing the symbol of the Rainbow that God made
the Sign of the Covenant with Noah, and preserved in the Ethiopian
Flag, rather than the "mateb" that the Egyptian Orthodox
Church had introduced as the black, white and red, the colours
of the Egyptian national flag;
f) The Dates of the Incarnation of The Son of God Jesus Christ
in the Womb of The Virgin Mary at the Annunciation of St. Gabriel,
the Archangel, and of the Conception of The Mother of God in the
Womb of Her Mother Hanna, that fall on Tah'sas 1 and 7, rather
than Megabit 29 and Nehassie 7 as imposed by the Egyptian Orthodox
Church respectively;
g) The overlapping Dates of The Births of The Divine Son Jesus
Christ and The Holy Mother of God The Virgin Mary that both fall
on Meskerem 1, rather than Tahsas 28 or 29, and Genbot 1, again
as imposed by the Egyptian Orthodox Church respectively.
Whereas, Mahbere Q'ddusan continue to justify and enhance indiscriminately
everything that was introduced and imposed on Ethiopia at the
discretion of the Egyptian Orthodox Church long ago, by discarding
all that is Ethiopian, and substituting in its stead all that
is Coptic, in contempt and to the detriment of the Divinity and
Seniority of the Ethiopian Entity and Identity that are embodied
in Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.
Fourthly, I invite you to visit once again our web site and click
the Forum of Faith shown on the Home Page. There, you will find
our religious belief, and the related scope, magnitude and purpose
that are attached to it, articulated as concisely as possible.
There, you will find the expressed belief of True Ethiopians as
their Mother Country Ethiopia constituting the Unity and Trinity
of their Divine Kingdom comprises the Three Houses of: the People,
the Priesthood and the Administration.
Be aware of the fact that there is only one Kingdom that God established
for humans to live in this world and in the next. There is no
any other. If the Devil and humans on earth reject this Divine
Arrangement and establish their own man-conceived and man-made
states and governments, let them do, as had been the case from
the time of Adam and Eve. They had, and still have, the inherent
God-given Right and Choice to do so. But, His Believers or Followers
who claim to be and call themselves Christians in general, and
Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant in particular, ought to abide
by Their God's Will and Arrangement. They should remain and serve,
as Her Members and Citizens, only that One Kingdom of God, Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God, headed by their Priestly King Jesus Christ
and their Holy Mother Country and Ecclesiastical Queen The virgin
Mary.
Whereas, Mahbere Q'ddusan believe in and serve the satanic doctrine
of "separation of Church and State" that the enemies
of God conceived, advocated and aggressively promote to this day
in trying to destroy all that is Ethiopia and Ethiopian: The Work
of God.
Fifthly, True Ethiopians believe that Ethiopia: The Kingdom of
God with its Three component constituencies existed from the time
of Adam and Eve to this day, whose age spans already 7,500 years.
Whereas Mahbere Q'ddusan accepted, fortify and pursue the false
notion, instigated and introduced by foreign powers, that characterizes
Ethiopia as a non-religious country of a human creation existing
for not more and not less than the last 100 years, as declared
by the incumbent secular authorities of the present Ethiopian
generation, or for the last 1600 years in the Christian Faith,
as declared by the Egyptian Orthodox Church, or still for the
last 3000 years inaugurated by the advent of the Jewish Faith,
as established by the Bete-Israelites.
Sixthly, as you witness, Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God Services
is committed and labors to uncover and reveal, maintain and disseminate
The Divine Truth about Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, and about
True Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant with their primordial Sacred
Tradition and Heritage.
Whereas, what Mahbere Q'ddusan, in reality, are currently implicated
in is a perilous preoccupation that is contrary to the interests
and to the detriment of their own Mother Land, Mother Church and
Mother Kingdom Ethiopia, and of Her People of the Holy Covenant
that amounts to the betrayal of the latter.
This assessment is a result of the obvious situation that prevails
at present, despite their effort to portray themselves to the
ordinary human being in general, and to the Ethiopian in particular,
as if they are contributing to the constructive enhancement of
their Church. They are advancing such sinister objective not only
with the particular awareness and premeditation of the very few
in the leadership of the Association, but also in connivance of
the incumbent Church authorities. However, the need to investigate
whether it is with or without the prior knowledge and endorsement
of the whole membership that the leadership dared to be engaged
in such camouflaged campaign of adverse nature is at the discretion
of the former.
Individual members of the Association or proponents like you may
not recognize the subtlety and danger of such maneuvers. Yet,
the few leaders as well as the mass membership both have the religious
responsibility to know the nature of the subtlety and the threat
of such undertaking by the Association, and take the necessary
step to rectify the dangerous trend before it is too late. The
accountability of all concerned in the matter at hand is not committed
to temporal powers and authorities, religious or secular, to handle,
but more importantly it involves the Divine. So, this is a critical
and an immediate issue that needs prompt reaction by all implicated.
Seventhly, before dealing with the seventh item, it is necessary
for you and for us to have a consensus on the meaning of the term
the "status quo" in order for both of us to arrive at
the common understanding of the end result. The term is Latin,
and it means: The ways and the things as they now exist.
Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God Services is determined and committed,
with the inspiration, guidance and omnipotence of the Holy Spirit,
to keep all the Divine, the Good and the Ethiopian Heritage that
deserve conservation, and to do away with the pernicious status
quo, not only the physical, but also the mental, even more significantly,
the spiritual, with all its evil and alien vestiges that pertains
to anything that constitutes detrimental to Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God. Yes, the status quo that seems to be permanently impressed
on the mind of the preceding and the present Ethiopian generations
for centuries must be wiped out. Yes, the status quo in the disguise
of which the worship of the Devil, and the reign of secular wisdom,
wealth and power dominates ought to be eradicated. Yes, the status
quo where misinterpretation and perversion of the Word of God,
abuse and misuse of spiritual authority, unbridled corruption
and greed are rampant requires riddance. Yes, the status quo by
means of which human and foreign religious control, adulteration
and distortion of the indigenous Ethiopian and Divine Sacred Heritage
are rooted needs extermination once and for all.
Whereas, the basic purpose and activities of Mah'bere Q'ddusan
seem to prove, from its inception to this day, the opposite of
the foregoing stance of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. And this
turned out to be the retention of the status quo that continues
to generate a negative impact upon the existence and survival
of not only Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, but also of the Ethiopian
Coptic Orthodox Church itself whom they seem to serve in dedication,
and what remains of the whole nation of Ethiopia.
What the Association is pursuing now is simply a means to sustain
and fortify the status quo of the Church, through which the True
Divine Entity and Identity of Ethiopia, of Her Kingdom, of Her
People and of even Her Church is jeopardized, negatively affected
and badly distorted. We feel and see clearly that the leadership
and membership of the Association are being manipulated by the
notorious and relentless, long-standing and deep-rooted adversaries
of Ethiopia. The condition created by such submissive posture
of the Association proved conducive for the evil forces to systematically,
covertly and slowly dismantle, and finally destroy the age-old
Divine Works of Our God of Ethiopia of the Holy Covenant.
As this is the supreme cause for whose ultimate goal all the adversaries
of Ethiopia strived for centuries and still remain determined
to achieve, the current resulting state of affairs of Ethiopia
simply manifests the collaboration of the Association with those
adversaries. Even if the latter, with the aid and cooperation
of the Church and the Association, seem to succeed and prevail
in their sinister objective for the time being, the Merciful and
the Omnipotent God, in keeping the Divine Stipulations of His
Holy Covenant, continues, as always, to neutralize and incapacitate
such human intrigues in due course.
Now, let me ask you: Are you in favour of the status
quo that has been briefly described heretofore? Do you think it
is worth accepting it and believe in it, and continue to keep
it, foster it and fortify it with the aim to prolong its survival
at the expense of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God and all that is
Ethiopian, in line with and in the limitation of the scope of
what Mah'bere Q'ddusan are presently doing? You ought to realize
that accepting and believing in and retaining the status quo in
such a way is tantamount to accepting and believing in all the
false human-made or evil premises that were fabricated by the
adversaries of Ethiopia, and introduced and imposed on Ethiopians
for millenniums, the present generation being the current victim.
Do you fully understand what acceptance of the status quo means
and constitutes?
Let me give you few but major instances that illustrate various
status quos that showed up at different stages of the independent
and uninterrupted existence of Ethiopia: The Kingdom God. Here,
it is interesting to note that all the status quos witnessed in
the Ethiopian scenarios, however critical, always ended up in
no more than putting to the test and positively affecting, in
some way or other, the sheer survival of the Divine Kingdom and
Her People of the Holy Covenant. They passed away merely leaving
indelible memories that provided succeeding generations respectively
with warning signals for them to learn from the past ones. But
the perpetrators and manipulators of the Status quos never succeeded
in their determined purpose of destroying Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God.
1. Look retrospectively at the healthy society, the constructive
development and vigorous progress of our Axumite civilization,
characterized by the tranquility and prosperity of Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of God and Her People at that time. Her People, then,
were called Ag'azians, the appellation by which those forerunners
of the present Ethiopians were known, and the name meaning "Themselves
remained Liberated from the bondage of sinful life by the Holy
Covenant" and "Liberators of Others from similar curse
by the same Sacred Means". That period of greatness was climaxed
by the legendary and Divinely inspired majestic Pilgrimage of
the Ethiopian Queen Makk'dda with Her impressive entourage to
Jerusalem, and evidenced as yet by the exquisite steles still
standing in Axum. This auspicious state of the nation was enhanced
by the Advent of Christianity in Ethiopia through Abemelek, the
Ethiopian Eunuch, that came about at the dawn of the Prophetic
Era of the New Testament, at which time, the appellation of the
people switched from "Ag'azian" to "Christian".
Such was the grandeur of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God and Ethiopians
of the Holy Covenant right up to the 4th century AD, when it had
been disrupted and crippled by the undue introduction and imposition
of the foreign influence of the Egyptian Orthodox Church. Had
the divergence from the right track of Ethiopian Divine way of
life been challenged and corrected, and the emergence and prevalence
of the status quo created by the Coptic been dealt with appropriately
in its disposal on time, the ensuing retributive bloody overthrow
of the contemporary rulers of the so-called Solomonic decent with
all their establishments, as well as the concurrent extensive
destruction of the Church by the ruthless Judith could have been
averted.
2. When the contemporary penitent generation of the then Ethiopia
deserved the Divine Mercy of the Holy Covenant after forty years
of violent persecution, again the same pattern of life in peace
and grandeur that recall the Axumite Era reemerged and prevailed
across the nation. How? Through the restoration of the Sacred
Identity and Divine Sovereignty of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God
that was accomplished by the Zagwes, who were the Consummate Believing
Members, Proponents and Promoters of the Divine Realm. And Her
same people now came to be called "Amhara" meaning "Free
Nation in which all tribes, colours, religions, languages and
cultures in the whole land became one in the Faith of the Holy
Covenant of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God."
Those Zagwes were the Holy Wise Men whose memorable reigns as
"Atsies", meaning "Elects of God" or "Priestly
Kings in the Order of Melke-Zedeq", or, in the legendary
term used by Europeans as "Prester Jans", are still
fresh in the minds of True Ethiopians. Their successive enthronement
though lasted for only less than three and half centuries, left
an ineffaceable monumental masterpieces that continued to be manifest,
to this day and for the unforeseen future, in the perpetual embodiments
of the solid rock-hewn Churches. These Exquisite Sanctified Edifices
remain standing as shining living relics on the highlands of ancient
Roha and the present Lalibela.
Such revival of the superb state of the nation was again rendered
victim of the same fate the previous Axumite Era endured through
the same sinister interference of the legacy of the Egyptian Orthodox
Church: The reinstatement of the rulers of the antiquated Old
Testament Order of Succession that constituted a violation of
the Divine One of the New Testament. This grave sin of transgression
was committed deliberately by the perpetrators with full knowledge
of the reality that the Old Order was substituted by the New One,
as inscribed in the Gospel of Saint John. Here is what the Scriptures
say, underlining the foregoing Divine Truth: "But as many
as received Him [Jesus Christ], to them He gave the right to become
Children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born,
not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of
man, but of God." (Jn. 1/12-13)
The New Order was inaugurated 2000 years ago by the Birth of the
Incarnate God Jesus Christ from the Holy Virgin Mary, and by His
ultimate Sacrificial Atonement that resulted in the bestowal of
the Gracious Gift of the Divine Privilege upon every True Ethiopian
of the Holy Covenant. And this Gracious Gift of the Divine Privilege
involves the conferral of the Right of the Spiritual Succession
on that True Ethiopian of the Holy Covenant making him or her
eligible, as one of the Children of God born of the Holy Spirit
through the Sacrament of Baptism, even to the Throne of the Divine
Kingdom, as "Elect of God".
Thus, the return to the defunct tradition of the Old Testament
Succession Order in defiance of the above referred New Testament
One, with the unruly retention and dominance of its status quo,
brought nothing good for the country and the people but those
same miseries that always inflict both the latter. And the inevitable
deterioration and decadence finally attracted the invasion of
Ahmed Gragn, resulting in the downfall and complete devastation
of all the extant establishments that included the Church, and
the consequential deterioration of the country.
This tragic state of the Nation, in turn, opened up the way for,
and facilitated, not only the hostile expansion of the Oromos
as far as the interior, and even to the far north of the country,
but also the entrenchment of the Roman Catholic clergy who came
into Ethiopia under the cover of the Catholic Portuguese army
that was invited to help repel the Islamic invasion. While the
penetration of the former ended up in the favourable assimilation
with the rest of the population, that of the latter triggered
a religious war among the Christians that ended up in the dreadful
fratricidal bloodshed.
3. No sooner had the Ethiopian generation of that period committed
itself to the Genuine Penitence and came to its senses than it
recognized the legitimacy and sovereignty of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God of the Holy Covenant and effected Her reinstatement forthwith.
Accordingly, with the advent and enthronement of the gallant defenders
of the Ethiopian Faith, initially the Martyr Atsie Gelawdewos,
and subsequently the famous Atse Fasil, began to lead the Nation
towards its former Glorious Era; and the Country and Her People,
once again, came to flourish. That Era is exemplified by the distinguished
achievements of both Atsies respectively, first, in the annihilation
of the Islamic invasion and the consolidation of the sovereign
land, then, in founding the Metropolis of Gondar as the Center
of Ethiopian Faith of the Holy Covenant, Culture, Learning, Music
and Arts with its Castles still standing witnessing its time of
Greatness.
However, this Eminence was short-lived; and after a span of some
two centuries, again, the invariable predicament befell the Country
as had happened in the previous periods. The same cursed fate
reappeared when the leaders, the clergy and the people in the
three Houses of the Divine Kingdom succumbed to the habitual malevolence
of returning to the status quo. And the consequence of such move
always proved to bring those series of catastrophic demises of
every thing that was gained by the toil of the Nation. Here, it
culminated in the fragility of the Sovereign Kingdom and the disintegration
of the Country, resulting in the subsequent fratricidal conflicts.
4. To make the long history short, the more conducive situation,
similar to those preceding happy eras seemed to reemerge, after
protracted regional conflicts, and, of course, through the same
process of Genuine Repentance on the part of the contemporary
Ethiopian generation. As a result, leaders like Atsie Tewod'ros,
Atse Tekle-Ghiorgis and Atse Yohannes, were finally called upon
and successively crowned as "Elects of God" in accordance
with the Divine stipulation embodied in the Holy Covenant of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God quoted above from Scriptures.
As such, they unified the Country and, to some extent, began to
restore Her Glorious Days by repulsing foreign invasions that
were all armed with overwhelming military power, including those
waged by Islamic Egypt. These Atsies were the ones who were considered
by the partners of the secret accord made between the Solomonites
and the Egyptian Orthodox Church to be ineligible for succession
to the Throne by reason of their common birth. Violation of the
New Testament Divine Order by the aforementioned intransigent
partners of the secret accord, with the unfailing concomitant
reappearance of the status quo, remained, all the time, one of
the main sources and causes for the grave tragedies the Country
and the People endured for centuries.
With the investiture of Atse Menelik II to the Throne, the recovery
of some lost territories of what was originally part of Ethiopia,
and the astounding and decisive defeat of the Catholic Italian
invading army by Ethiopians under his leadership and that of Itegue
Taitu at Adwa highlighted the apex of the era. The peaceful and
prosperous period with added development-oriented progress continued
during the time of Queen Zewditu whose enthronement and reign
in line with Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, served as a reminiscent
of those of the Glorious Ethiopian Queens Candace and Makk'dda,
the Illustrious New Testament and the Legendary Queen of Sheba
of the Old Testament, respectively.
This significant era was again traumatized by the advent of the
present generation of Atsie Haile-Sellasie whose reign proved
beyond doubt to be detrimental to Ethiopia and Ethiopians, because
of the inducement for the resurgence of the status quo that brought
about that entire terrible calamity on him, his government and
the Nation. The cause of such situation cropped up from nowhere
else, except from the covert and absolute denial, travesty and
perversion of the Holy Covenant, which cause was intentionally
meant to undermine, with the motivation of foreign influences,
the existence of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. Such contemptible
attitude and brazen behaviour of Atsie Haile Sellassie's regime
was found guilty of monstrous crime perpetrated on the Divine
Truth and Deed. The retribution deserved an equal price and magnitude
that the accumulated, vindictive and mighty military power of
Fascist Italy was released and dispatched to discharge the equivalent
punishment on the Atse himself and his regime, as well as on the
Church and the people of Ethiopia.
However, even the miraculous restoration of Atsie Haile-Sellassie
to power and his triumphal return to the Throne, brought about
by his eleventh hour Genuine Repentance, did not convince him
and his contemporary generation to renounce their former negative
attitude and behaviour of revulsion of the Holy Covenant that
God made with Ethiopia: His Divine Kingdom; neither did it prove
capable to persuade them to rely henceforth solely on the same
Divine Covenant. On the contrary, the same generation with its
leader the Atse, both relapsed, without a speck of remorse, to
the conduct of their previous stance of the status quo, and even
proceeded to intensify their covert and overt hostilities with
greater vigour against Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. This unwarranted
action, however, turned out only to trigger the current wild affliction
that violently brought the ultimate demise of Atse Haile Sellasie,
his regime and everything he toiled for, and to aggravate the
relentless retribution to continue to this day to torment his
recalcitrant generation.
Do I need to relate to you what happened ever since? Would you
be unable to visualize and realize the truth that the appearance
in Ethiopia, in 1967 E.C., of the allied evil powers of the Beast
embodied in the guise of the Dergue and the current incumbents,
as well as the False Prophet represented by the Leadership of
Bete-K'hnet, then and now, both spearheaded by the Devil mentioned
in the Book of the Revelation, all working hand-in-hand to destroy
systematically and gradually Ethiopia: the Kingdom of God? Are
you not on the stage participating in the joint operation, assumed
also by the present generation in partnership with both allied
evil powers mentioned above, for the fulfillment of the aforementioned
objective of the annihilation of Ethiopia: The kingdom of God?
The foregoing status quos that afflicted the various
Ethiopian generations at different times are characterized by
the recurrence of pestilences, starvations, wars, exiles, imprisonments,
terrorizations, tortures, poverty, homelessness and all kinds
of plagues and persecutions. These tragic events that took place
from the Axumite Era to the present, and whose major cause was
attested to have derived from the sinister stratagem of the status
quo that was instigated and introduced by the Copts of Egyptian
Orthodox Church, are briefly explained above in the case of Gudith
the Jew, Ahmed Gragn the Moslem, the Fascist Mussolini the Catholic,
and the Atheistic Menguistu of the Dergue, just to quote the recent
precedents. Those recurrent vicissitudes, generated by the status
quos, always flourish whenever foreign interferences and influences
are given precedence over and above the Holy Covenant that only
Ethiopia and Ethiopians, as custodians from the time of Creation,
preserved to this day.
Who do you think rejoices and feasts on the outcome of all those
tragedies caused by the status quos: On the shedding of the human
blood in the fratricidal wars and on the dead bodies that lie
in cities and towns, in concentration camps, in prisons, in fields
of the war zones, in villages and rural areas, in the wilderness,
and in foreign lands? While God and His Mother together with all
Their Holy Hosts, human and angelic, physically and spiritually,
lament on such situations, only the Devil and his hosts rejoice
and feast. God, at all times, saves lives, but the Devil devours.
Wherefrom and from whom would you imagine that the present Ethiopian
generation gathers the bitter fruits of miseries and death which
it is forced to swallow for the last 33 years, up until now? The
answer is simple: It is from the accumulated filth of the status
quos, and from its overseer, the Devil.
Now, if Ethiopia and Ethiopians have the desire and the will to
restore their past Glory in its full manifestation, both the filth
and the overseer should be purged from the existing Ethiopian
scenario, once and for all, through the Genuine Repentance of
the generation itself and the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit whose
momentous result will surely be manifest in the reinstatement
of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.
Before concluding, there are a couple of items that
have relevance to the question under discussion, and that is worth
mentioning here for you and for all those concerned to ponder
upon and benefit from:
1) There is one single significant thing that, lately in my life,
draws my attention and that continue to perplex me to this day:
On the one hand, the prevalence of Ethiopians in multitudes who
ostensibly look and behave like Ethiopians but are prone to be
committed to serve and actually serve, as determined, devoted
and accomplished catalysts, for whatever is foreign, religious
or secular, ideological or material, even knowing that the purpose
of their instrumentality is detrimental to their own identity
and survival, let alone their country and fellow compatriots.
On the other hand, the interesting part of this phenomenon is
when it comes to considering the aspect of serving what is Ethiopian,
or ones own. Here, one finds a peculiar factor that is conspicuously
evident: The lack or the non-existence of Ethiopians who have
even the least desire or the will to work for, or to serve what
is Ethiopian. Even more, to find those who have the inspiration
of genuine patriotism, or the positive impetuous, zeal and determination,
dedication and vigour to serve what is Ethiopian, is unthinkable.
But, to gather, within a short notice, a mass of traitors who
are negatively driven to the extent of insanity by those passions,
and succumb to the will and whim of the adversaries of Ethiopia
when they are lured to anything that is foreign and detrimental
to whatever is Ethiopian, it is simple and easy.
2) The whole Creation, including our Soul, Body and Spirit belongs
to God, The Maker. The foregoing three phenomenal entities of
our person are made and given to each one of us by Him. Therefore,
He is the One who always owns them. So, there is nothing we individually
own. We even could not claim ourselves to be ours, and say "This
is mine!" Hence, each one of us should not and could not
allow the Devil or any other creature, human or angelic, physical
or spiritual, man-made wisdom, or acquired wealth, or assumed
power, to own him/her, or to claim him/her as its property. Each
one of us is the Precious Treasure of God, unless he/she, of his/her
free will denies Him and His Holy Covenant.
As such, each person, in his or her creation of human nature and
of the image of Divinity, is individually bestowed upon by the
Divine Grace of Our Creator with the Natural Gift of Unlimited
Freedom to make any kind of Choice, and the Authority to Decide
what to do with that Choice, and finally the Capacity to Execute
that Decision, to the extent of even denying the Creator Himself.
No created being has the power to restrict that Transcendent Privilege.
Even Its Donor God Himself, from the time of Its inception onward,
had ordained to render even His Divine Omnipotence to refrain
from interfering in the human exercise and application of this
Sacred Personal Right. And the implementation of this Divine Ordination
was witnessed in the first act of deviation made by Adam and Eve,
as told in the first part of Scriptures.
Therefore, based on the above two premises, whatever measures
you, or Mah'bere Q'ddusan, or we, had taken in the past, and would
take in the future, concerning any aspects of our individual or
collective lives in this world, and of Our Mother Country and
Church, People and Government that we believe in, serve and call
Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, it is our inalienable RIGHT granted
by Our Creator to each one of us to do so with full freedom. But,
the one most important thing for each one of us always to bear
in mind, in this connection, is the existence of a concomitant,
established and immutable Divine Verdict of Personal Obligation
on our part that goes with this Divine Privilege: The fact that
each one of us remains accountable for the proper usage and fruitfulness,
or for the misuse and barrenness of this Unique RIGHT, now in
this age, and finally at the Last Judgment.
Here, you are done with us. As far as we are concerned,
we feel that we had provided you with adequate information about
Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God and about the Services we are committed
to offering Her of our own free will. Now, in order to make your
unbiased judgment, go to the leadership of Mahbere Q'ddusan, and
ask them yourself openly as you have done to us, what their position
is with regard to the above information we provided you with all
that related to Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God and the Services
we are rendering for Her cause, as well as what they think about
the whole subject-matter that we have dealt with inhere so far.
Wait for their answer.
However, let me warn you beforehand in the likely event that the
unexpected happens: Don't be surprised if they ignore or set aside
your inquiry concerning us; or don't be confused if they continue
with their silence, or provide you with some unending excuses
for the procrastination of their reply. Don't be exasperated even
if they reprimand you for visiting our web site and perusing our
materials therein. Don't be stunned if they advise you, and instruct
you to communicate this advice to others, not to read any literature,
let alone our books and publications, that is issued by us and/or
by any other body. Lastly, don't be offended if they warn and
proscribe you from being involved in the future, in any way, with
things and matters that implicate Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God,
or our Services.
In my presentation of the Divine Truth responding to your email
heretofore, somehow and somewhere, I may possibly and incidentally
hurt someone's feelings to the extent of invoking hatred upon
me and our services of Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God. This is indeed
the inevitable outcome of our perseverance in our commitment to
duty, as seen on all occasions that involve the same situations,
spearheaded by Our Lord The Incarnate God Jesus Christ and succeeded
by His Messengers: the Prophets, the Apostles and the Martyrs.
Relying on this Divine Truth, I would like to conclude by quoting
a famous Ethiopian maxim that directly relates to the issue discussed
herein: "Ye'Iwnet Zaf, Q'Telwa Merara, F'rewa G'n TafaCH
New!" "The Leaves of the Tree of Truth are Bitter; but
its Fruits are Sweet!" The positive interpretation of the
above maxim would be to your advantage and to the advantage of
all others like you if applied, inasmuch as we applied it to our
benefit.
I hope and pray that the inspiration of the Holy Spirit continues
to guide all of us, wherever we are, and whatever we do for the
cause of the Divine Truth about Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God,
and for all that is Ethiopian of the Holy Covenant. At the same
time, I admonish you and all concerned, including the leaders
and members of Mah'bere Q'ddusan, as well as any of the readers
that may come across this e-mail and this response, to meditate
seriously on the Divine Truth that is revealed herein and elsewhere,
and accordingly to rectify, without delay, any wrong done at any
time and anywhere, through Genuine Repentance.

Our Response to your questions

Dear Zehafta Tekea:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your
email question.
If you are, or claim to be an Ethiopian, there is
a reason why you felt scary after you went through our Q &
A forum: Your fear is simply a reflection of your Faith. Such
is the symptom of a wavering Faith that is not firmly founded
on the Divine Truth of Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianhood
of the Holy Covenant.
The current status of Ethiopia is, of course, not in good shape,
fundamentally and wholly; and it will remain as such, until the
present Ethiopian generation, that includes you, comes to its
senses and reinstates itself to its True Ethiopianhood of the
Holy Covenant through genuine Repentance.
The healthy and longstanding status quo of the relationship of
the Muslims in Ethiopia with the Ethiopians (Christians of the
Holy Covenant) should be maintained as it had remained for the
last millennium and four centuries. Each community of the former
and the latter has to commit itself to the maintenance of such
status quo, as it is the religious obligation of all parties to
do so for their own wellbeing and in order all would benefit.
This objective can be achieved by both concerned as long as Ethiopians
and the Muslims allow, of their own respective faith and volition,
to accept the Divine Truth and Reality that Ethiopia is required,
for all time, to preserve Her Status of Entity as The Kingdom
of God.
While the foregoing statement answers for the question of how
this could be effected, the following short account would suffice
to answer for the question as to why it should be effected: Because
Ethiopia, as The Kingdom of God, exercised its Divine-given privilege
of hosting the first Muslim refugees and rendering Herself an
asylum for them from the earliest days of their persecution perpetrated
against them by all religions and peoples of the world, including
their own countrymen, at the birth of their religion, Islam, and
continued its hospitality and protection to them, even to this
day, and possibly for the unforeseen future.
As an Ethiopian, and as long as you remain True
and Faithful to your Holy Covenant of Our Priestly King Jesus
Christ and Our Eternal Queen and Holy Mother The Virgin Mary,
you should not experience any bad sensation about yourself and
your family, your Church and your Mother Country Ethiopia, but
rather you would feel comfortable trusting and relying on the
Divine Care and Security guaranteed by Our Holy Covenant. All
we need is to live up to our Faith and Precepts of Ethiopianness
of the Holy Covenant, and continue to be committed to our Prayers,
Fastings and Charities for the cause of Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God, that comprises the Church of Ethiopia.
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian, you need to be knowledgeable
about such and all other minor and major issues pertaining to
Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopiawinnet. To achieve this goal,
you have to read those books and publications publicized on our
web site, including the Q & A Section, for your follow-up
of the situation in Ethiopia.
By fulfilling this Ethiopian commitment, you will, not only benefit
from the acquirement of the priceless information on the Divine
Truth about Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopianness, but you
will also save the valuable time and energy that we, on both sides,
would unnecessarily spend in our exchange of emails. So, we urge
you to do that before you try to send us any more questions on
any item that relates to the above subject matters. Wherever you
are, this is the way to bring yourself, as an Ethiopian, to the
attainment of the True Life of Tranquility in Ethiopia: The Kingdom
of God.

I just want to ask what the description or meaning
of the sign of Lion with its Cross and Ethiopian flag is. I can
guess the woman may be Ethiopia praying to God. Waiting for your
reply.

Ye'Igziab'her selam ke'irs'wom gar y'hun! S'leselamtawo
Igzer y'sT'll'n.
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your
e-mail question.
The Sign in colours is the Divine Seal of Ethiopia:
the Kingdom of God. As you noticed, it is composed of three parts
whose meaning is depicted as follows:
1) On the upper part, the Ethiopian Flag symbolizing Noah's Rainbow;
the oneness of the flag and the three stripes of green, yellow
and red typify the Unity and the Trinity of: a) God, the Father,
the Son and the Holy Spirit; b) The Ethiopian, as the offspring
of Shem, Ham and Japhet; and c) Ethiopia, as the Nation and Kingdom
of God constituting the People, Church and State of the Holy Covenant;
(Gen. 9/ 8-17)
2) In the middle part, Ethiopia stretching out Her Hands to God
that personifies the Virgin Mary, Mother of God the Son, Queen
of Zion, of Ethiopia and of the Universe; (Ps. 68/31)
3) On the lower part, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah representing
God the Son Jesus Christ, Eternal Priest, King of Zion and King
of Kings of Ethiopia and of the Universe, (Rev. 5/5).
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian, you need to be knowledgeable
about such and all other minor and major issues pertaining to
Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopiawinnet. To achieve this goal,

I have heard, every now and then, that there
is a prophecy concerning the one who will bring peace to Ethiopia
aka, ?Tedros?. What can you tell me about that? Or what have you
heard.
|
|
Our 1st Response to Meron:-
|
|
Dear Meron:
Thank you for visiting our web site and for your
e-mail question.
Beware of so-called prophecies! There are no more prophecies,
revelations and dreams, neither true nor false. All these Old
Testament phenomena are already fulfilled, terminated, and rendered
non-existent by the Advent of the Consummate Prophet, Jesus Christ
Himself, The Son of God, born of The Holy Virgin Mary.
This is the Divine Personage to whom you referred above as "the
one who will bring peace to Ethiopia"; not only to Ethiopia,
but also to the universe at large. You do not have to wait for
anyone, human or angelic being, to come. Don't be misguided by
false disciples of charlatans. There is no one forthcoming. The
Priestly King, Our Lord Jesus Christ had already come two millenniums
ago, brought with Him the Eternal Peace of His Divine Kingdom
to Ethiopia and to the World, reigned for the last 2000 years,
and is now reigning, and continues to reign forever with His Holy
Mother as the Eternal Queen. This is Ethiopia: The Kingdom of
God in Which we, as Her Children and Believers, live and serve
peacefully. And, if you sincerely and faithfully aspire to live
and enjoy that Peaceful Life of Service, yes, you can; it is at
your discretion, as described below.
Because humanity in general rejected The Incarnate God, Jesus
Christ long ago, and we, Ethiopians of the present generation,
in particular, denied Him and His Holy Covenant publicly in the
1967 (Ethiopian Calender) atheistic revolution, ever since then,
He withdrew Himself and His Peace from this apostate, evil and
adulterous generation and the country. To restore that Peace,
which you and many like you deeply desire for Ethiopia, as well
as for the whole world, a simple, but genuine act is required
from each Ethiopian involved, and for that matter, from any Christian
living on earth. And that requirement is: to reinstate oneselfe
to the True Faith of the Holy Covenant through repentance.
If you are a serious and concerned Ethiopian, you need to be knowledgeable
about such and all other minor and major issues pertaining to
Ethiopia, the Ethiopians and Ethiopiawinnet. To achieve this goal,
you have to read those books and publications publicized on our

would unnecessarily spend in our exchange of emails. So, we urge
you to do that before you try to send us any more questions on
any item that relates to the above subject matters. Wherever you

Thanks for that information...but when I say
prophecies it is simply stating just that.
I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say that there are "yebeku
sewoche" or "Hermits" as westerners refer to them(
like St. Anthony the great
look him up), who can foresee
certain things and heed followers of the Orthodox faith to fast
and pray for trying times, are foreseen to them. I don't know
if you consider that witch craft but it is what it is.
What have you to say to that matter oh....wordy one?
|
|
Our 2nd Response to Meron:-
|
|
Dear Meron Aberra Abebe:
Again thank you for your email.
I agree only with the first part of the content of your email
that states, to quote your own phrase, "that there are 'yebeku
sewoche' or 'Hermits' as westerners refer to them (like St. Anthony
the great)". Yes, there are "yebeku sewoche". But,
we do not know who and where they are, and cannot recognize them
as such. It is only for the Omnipotent God The Holy Spirit to
identify them; not us; it is beyond our capacity of perception
and judgment to do so. I mean and am referring only to those who
still live in the flesh in this world, and not to those who are
already in the Heavenly Spiritual Realm. In fact we have to be
particularly very cautious in this matter, especially at this
critical epoch of our existence, as it is the end time whereby
the Devil is released from his millennium imprisonment. Himself
being an evil spirit, he is capable of utilizing the manipulation
of such human mediums. It is said in Scriptures that he even has
the power to appear and act as an angel (2nd Cor. 11/14). That
is why I forewarned you in my previous response by saying in general
terms, "Beware of so-called prophecies!" And that is
also why, Our Lord warned us about false prophets.
Accordingly, based on the above religious premises, let me tell
you, in brief, why I do not agree with the rest of you statement
in your email that should remain only yours if you still insist
to retain it. For us Ethiopians of the Holy Covenant, i.e., of
Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God, we relate, refer to and are more
concerned about Ethiopians like Melke-Tsedeq, Kah'n Yotor (the
Ethiopian Jethro, the father of Sipara, wife of Moses), St. Yared,
St. Lalibela, St. Tekle-Haimanot, St. Petros (the Martyr by the
invader Fascist Italy), rather than Copts, like St. Anthony, or
any other foreign Saints. This is mainly because of our responsibility
to preserve our unadulterated Ethiopian Sacred Heritage. True
Ethiopians follow, in word and deed, only the Examples and Teachings
of The Ethiopian Priestly King, Our Lord Jesus Christ, Son of
God and Son of Our Ethiopian Saintly Queen Mother The Virgin Mary.
Be reminded that the Divine Purpose of the Advent and Revelation
of The Incarnate God to this world in the Living Human Body He
inherited from The Virgin Mary is to fulfill His Godly Will and
Mission by His Crucifixion and Death, Resurrection and Ascension,
and finally by His Return to Earth in The Holy Spirit.
And that Divine Will and Mission is: To inspire
each one of us to exert all our physical, mental and spiritual
efforts to elevate ourselves to the exalted status of these "Yebequ
Sewoch". It is not to make any one of us to worship the latter,
or always to rely on them and beseech for their intercession,
or to seek their insights as to what would be your destiny, or
to extort from them wishful predictions about what is forthcoming.
Do you know what the true "Yebequ Sewoch", wherever
they may be, would offer to all those who come to them? They simply
send those men and women back home with their exhortation to fulfill
the Will and Words of The Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Mother
The Virgin Mary, as specified above: They advice them to do away
with the Devil worship in any form once and for all, to repent
wholeheartedly for all their sins and to partake the Holy Communion,
thus to make themselves ready for the Last Call or Coming of Our
Saviour, Priestly King and God.
If your previous email was sent to me with the aforementioned
motive that is transpired therein, you were absolutely mistaken.
Otherwise, why did you submit to me those inquiries and even mention
the name "Tedros"? If you had read the letters posted
in the appropriate forum of our web site, particularly that which
concerns Pretenders in the name of "Tewod'ros", you
wouldn't have taken the trouble of writing and sending us your
email in the first place.
I know that the majority of Ethiopians are more prone to and interested
in such worthless intricacies rather than committing themselves
to issues of greater religious significance: That of fulfilling
the Will and Word of the Incarnate God and His Holy Mother, as
explained above. And this deeply-rooted and detrimental tendency
proved to be one of the major causes that crippled the healthy
physical, mental and spiritual development and progress of our
Ethiopian nation for centuries; and, therefore, must be eradicated
eternally, by any means.
It is obvious that your present email carries a sarcastic question.
Whether you are sarcastic or not, and in order to appease your
provocation, it is our duty to respond to your question as decently
and satisfactorily as we can. So, we could not help but act in
the same manner and still be considered wordy in your mind. Despite
your unwarranted allegation of characterizing our response as
wordy, we still continue to act as such. Why? Because it is our
avowed commission to offer you full service in our dissemination
of the knowledge of the Divine Truth. And the service we are rendering
to you is for the sake of your own Ethiopian salvation. Not for
us. For us, we have nothing to gain or lose, because, praise be
to Our God, we are already living the "Consummate Life"
in what is Ethiopia: The Kingdom of God.
What else could the purpose of our service be in your opinion?
Did you think it is for lack of other preoccupations or for pleasure
on our part, that we are obliged to pursue it with such fullness
and effectiveness? Not at all. It is entirely to help you restore
yourself to the True Ethiopianness and save yourself from the
doom the present Ethiopian generation is heading for, knowingly
and/or unknowingly. You need to be alerted and provided with a
comparable knowledge that would eliminate even the preliminary
imminent danger of the identity crisis that emanated from the
ignorance that was imposed upon the generation, and which knowledge
it had been deprived of purposely so far, by all the three Ethiopian
Houses: the Houses of the People, of the Priesthood (the Ethiopian
Orthodox Church) and of the Government.
For such reciprocity of ungratefulness on your part and for the
generation of that disposition, what the aphorism of our predecessors
described as "Simetrullet y'neCH!", the Apostle of Our
Lord had elaborated it in his Epistle: 2nd Timothy chapter 3;
it is for you to read it.
No wonder you represented the typical Ethiopian character of the
generation and behaved as such in your cynicism even after you
presumably went through those articles posted in our web site
that continue to exhort each one of you to rid yourselves of such
vestiges of evil and negative tendencies such as that you exhibited
in your email. No wonder that the long assortment of such tendencies
brought the national downfall and the tribulation that ensued
to inflict relentlessly to this day the stubborn and miserable
generation. We hope you will refrain from implicating yourself
further in such vain maneuver with grave consequence of Divine
retribution.
I apologize for not satisfying your need that you sought or expected
from me. You might have the wrong impression about me, or some
one might have misled you in this regard. I hope you have realized
by now that I am simply serving, humbly and faithfully, and to
the best of my capability, The Divine Truth about Ethiopia: The
Kingdom of God.
N'bure-Id Ermias Kebbede Welde-Iyyesus, The Servant of Ethiopia:
The Kingdom of God
